Only had drinks there. They had all the different types of bourbons. I tried the old pepper which is very good if you like. Rye. Mostly bar food that was on the menu. I did not try anything. Would go back and try the bar food. They had a bartender in training but she did very well. Good place to just hang out.

What a beautiful restaurant located within the Hyatt Regency Huntington Beach, the decor is stunning. We dined here for breakfast. The meals were very unique and inventive, but most importantly, the food and service were both fantastic. Watertable is a restaurant you'll want to visit whether you're staying at the hotel or not. Highly recommend for a drink or date night as well!

A memorable experience at Watertable. A beautiful restaurant in Huntington Beach.I'll start with the negative. The room was cold. They sat us close to a door to the patio and kept it open. We asked our server if he could close it, and he did.Our server was Bulent. He was very attentive and nice. 5 Stars for him!!!Food:Old Fashioned DrinksOlive TapenadeHamachi CrudoBone MarrowPear SaladTiger PrawnsLamb ChopsOrange Almond DessertThe highlight was the Bone Marrow. It was prepared perfectly with mushrooms, madeira, grilled sour dough bread, and parsley. Best combination ever!!!All the other dishes were good. I wouldn't order the Prawns again. My friends enjoyed the lamb chops.Overall, it was a beautiful experience, and the food was tasty.

We had the opportunity to go here for breakfast during our stay at the hotel. Ingredients are fresh and enjoyable. We tried the Huevos Rancheros, flat bread, avocana, oatmeal, veggie Benedict, French toast, omelette, kids choc chip pancake. Our favorites were the veggie Benedict, flat bread, and oatmeal.

Surprisingly delicious cocktails, as good as any I've had at a cocktail bar. We were able to sit by the fireplace outside on a crisp evening, it was great.

Food was decent service average, "sommelier" gave us a bad wine and couldn't tell the difference, although they did comp it once they were taught by the wine guy at the table. Upon arrival they said that the $29 valet fee would be comped by the restaurant, of course they only comped three hours so we got charged the full rate by surprise. Also they elected to add a 20% tip to the bill on their own, snuck it into the bill and then expected you to pay another 20% tip at the very end trying to double their tips. Unsatisfactory thus one star overall. don't mind average food and average service but it kind of pisses me off to have them try to sneak more money from me for money and nickel and dime on $1000 dinner bill. Then they said this was addressed in a prior review which was not referenced anywhere so they could be untruthful.

We came here for the New Year's Eve 4-course dinner meal ($120 per person)I got the lamb chops, pear salad, Chilean sea bass, and the six degrees of chocolate cake. The lamb was quite tender and flavorful, although was a little burnt. The pear salad was solid - I enjoyed the candied pecans, but personally didn't like the Roquefort cheese. The Chilean sea bass was incredible! Super flaky and tender, although a little too salty. The six degrees of chocolate cake was a little disappointing because it wasn't chocolatey enough for me

Shockingly good. I normally avoid hotel restaurants, but this place was incredible. Service, drinks, food. 5/5. We ordered the tomahawk steak, it was cooked to perfection. Could be one of the best steaks I’ve ever had, right up there with Keens in NYC or Entrecôte in Paris. Don’t be put off because this is a hotel restaurant, Watertable is awesome.

Food was good …. Every thing else was Underwhelming to say the least, dining room was loud noisy, filled with small children screaming and yelling. Advertised as an upscale elite dining experience this was anything but. Service was uneven and sloppy, badly timed and badly paced. Bar looks like the average hotel bar, nothing clever here. Staff was condescending. Served a flawed bottle of wine, pointed it out to staff. Was quickly replaced, but manager had to taste before me. They clearly didn't know the difference. Level of wine skill was non existent. Then came the bills … no indication of automatic gratuity and a clever addition of service charge with no explanation. Even though.i ran two bottles on a separate tab they still hit me with an unexplained 20% service charge. Read the fine non existent print or avoid entirely.

We were loyal customers of the Watertable until they increased their prices and made their paying guests pay for the valet service. I sent an email to management about this and they never responded. As a result of management's refusal to address this, we have taken the Watertable off our list of places to eat. There are dozens of local restaurants in Huntington Beach with comparable or better food and more reasonably priced, and you don't have to pay for valet service.

We had breakfast and thought it was great. I had the corned beef hash. My wife had avocado toast (gf). Both were great.

Coastal-cool steakhouse located in the Hyatt Regency. Had a team dinner here on a Friday evening with a reservation at 7:30pm. We had a private room but there was plenty of space available both indoors and outdoors. We started with the creamer potato cakes, scallops, and shishito peppers for the table, and the potato cakes were the hit. Note that the shishito peppers do come with crispy prosciutto on top. The scallops come four to a dish and I enjoyed them a lot. The main draw for entrees are the steaks, but they have plenty of non-steak options and also have a vegetarian option. I had the Chilean sea bass, which came with mashed potatoes and veggies on the side. The fish was a bit bland and wasn’t my favorite. You do have the option to add a soup or a salad prior to the entree. The burrata and peach salad was light and fresh. I got the Six Degrees of Chocolate which is the signature dessert, but was a bit lackluster. Overall, I liked the appetizers the best and it was a good venue for a business meal.
