I do not usually write reviews like this but it is deserved and hope it helps others in their decision to order from The Wok Experience. I hadn't eaten here in several years and it has greatly declined in the quality and taste of the food. I had been craving Chinese food for weeks and since the place I usually order from was closed I ordered from The Wok Experience through Uber Eats. I ordered the Tofu Eggplant and Vegetables with fried rice and chow mein (2 entree plate) and an order of Cream Cheese Wontons. The quality, flavor and taste of the food was awful. it both looked and tasted old, like it had been made days in advance. It had no flavor, the veggies were soggy sitting in a pool of water and the cream cheese wontons had a very strange smell. That said, I could not eat the food nor did I feel safe eating it or offering it to a homeless person so it was thrown out. I will not order from this restaurant again and do not recommend. There are several other Chinese restaurants in the area and/or available for order on the food delivery apps.

Me and my wife have been coming here for about 5 years now and every time is like my first time. The food is always hot, and they stuff your plate . The two ladies that work there in the evening and day are amazing ? Greet them with respect, they well deserve it. We are customers forever. ?
I've been coming here for forever and I love this place. Great food, nice staff, and always clean. And there's a bonus.... I used to work for Coke for about eight years and working there, You just become brand loyal and unfortunately, the wok experience has always been a Pepsi account. So I usually go there after cashing my check at La Bodega on Beach and Slater, which is also a great place and I would buy Mexican cokes and take them with me over there and one day one of the ladies working said oh that looks very good so I gave it to her. And she declined it but I insisted so she kindly gave me my meal for free and she pulled out a few cups and poured some into a few cups and shared it with the other girl working and the cook with smiles on their face. So every now and then if i remember I will buy them mexican cokes and give it to them when I order and then very kindly comp my meals. So I really love this place......

This was my go to Chinese fast food place when I was still employed many years ago. We happen to be in Stater Bros parking lot and I thought The Wok Experience is right there around the corner. We decided it was time that I make a visit after so long ago. Yes, still the same display and quaint seating area. The same counter and drink fountain. The young ladies behind the display are eager to help. The lovely missus points to noodles and sesame chicken and mushroom chicken. My turn and I. Wanted a combo of half fried rice and noodles. For sides I chose tofu/eggplant and a hot pepper chicken. The containers were filled to the top as I paid with a CC to take the food home. The condiments of soy sauce and sambal packs with a couple of fortune cookies were added to the plastic bag. Good service with a smile that deserves a stipend in the tip jar. The Chinese dishes were as good as I remember. The Wok Experience was a truly good revisit for me, and it will be a place to come back to.
I was looking for a good asian food locally. Google maps brought me to the Wok experience. I decided to go and order. The selection all looked mouthwatering. I chose the chow mein and the pepper steak and sesame chicken. I was glad I chose those dishes, as I gulfed the whole thing down!! Flavor was traditional, and texture was fresh. It was enough for me to want to go back and try all their dishes over time. Quick and tasty. Enjoy!!!

I've been going here since they opened and they are consistently generous and fresh every time I go. We went just as they opened and enjoyed the incredible spare ribs, spicy mandarin chicken, chow mein, and cream cheese wontons.
Fresh good food you can sit inside and enjoy your dinner, kids friendly I will take my grandmother my grandpa, my sister. The ladies are very nice.

9/19/23 - apprx 6pm, The cust ahead of me was paying with cash, and the person serving the food handled the cash, gave back change, then came to me for my order. I asked her since she handled cash, can she wash her hands? She got annoyed saying she handles cash and food. After standing in front of me i asked again can she wash her hands, she then walked away to use hand sanitizer and then went to the back. By the time she came back to the front, I left. The 2 ladies serving food were not wearing gloves.
