Being from Seattle where teriyaki is on every corner we’ve been struggling to find good teriyaki in this area. Decided on Yamas and it was pretty good. I got the beef and chicken plate and the chicken was good, had a nice char. The beef was ok, good amounts but the flavor was a little off. The salad was a lump of iceberg lettuce with a dark dressing and tasted ok. If I went back I would probably recommend the chicken bowl which looked really good and comes in small and large.
This place consistently serves delicious food with a great balance of flavors. Not only is it tasty, but it also feels like a healthier choice and totally worth the money. The restaurant is always spotless, and the staff, especially Chloe, are genuinely friendly. I can't get enough of the crunchy roll and the chicken and beef veggie dishes—they're my go-to favorites. Highly recommen

At first I was disappointed about the $1 surcharge for brown rice in my chicken bowl. I let the cashier know I get this free elsewhere and I likely won't be back. She said I'll hook you up this time...and after you taste my Mom's teriyaki recipe...you WILL be back. Don't you hate it when they're right? LOL I WILL BE BACK. ha ha ha Definitely a "home made" flavor in the sauce and rice. This place is stellar. OUTSTANDING.
