THE RUDEST PEOPLE EVER!if you want to rent bikes from there DON’T! Just do yourself a favor and run away from that shop !

Staff was very rude and seemed to handle multiple situations at the same time while just getting ruder towards me who hadnt really anything to do with that. Also rented out a wetsuit and board here a couple if years ago and it was all very old equipment and just not worth the rental price. There are plenty of places for renting your gear, but don’t need to do that here.

Blonde girl at window couldn’t possibly have less enthusiasm to have a job - monotone, unfriendly, unhelpful, ketchup was sputtering for being almost out and she didn’t offer to refill it , but the burger was amazing so I’ll put up with the attitude for the taste. Sitting area is extremely nice by boardwalk.*Update: I gave it one more shot, so I told them the ketchup pump was broke, he grabs it, fixes it and gets ketchup slathered all over the top of the pump, I let him know there’s now ketchup all over the top of the pump we put our hands on to get ketchup out, and he gives me a blank stare and walks away leaving it covered in ketchup and unuseable. The service, or lack thereof, is not worth the food. Only upgraded from one star because the food is good. I just always end up with a free side of attitude apparently.

We rented e-bikes for the afternoon & were so pleasantly surprised at the ease of it all. Friendly staff, great prices, even better sunsets! We 'biked' from Huntington to Newport & back. Would do again. WOULD RECOMMEND. (fabulous date idea, gentlemen!!)

I visit Mr Ali the owner of Zack’s Gift Shop and Rental 11/30/23. He noticed that I was disabled and he allowed me to use his wheelchair with beach wheels for free because my wheelchair would not make it down to the beach. He is such a gentleman and has great souvenirs in his shop. He also has delicious nachos with the works.Mr Ali thank you for taking care of me and my family.

I'd give zero if I could... I usually don't leave review but after this experience I think I should warn others. Ordered an order of fish and chips to share with my son. 3 pieces of fried fish came with order ($16.99). I ate the first (smallest) one which was fine. My son had second one which he didn't complain anything then I had the 3rd biggest piece then noticed the fish is not cooked with middle part COLD. I left the fried fries for my kid to continue then took that one piece to show to the staff. First of all, his attitude was just so wrong. I saw other review about very rude service at this location. This guy probably was the one. No apologies or looking for solution. He was just plain rude and treated me like I'm trying to take advantage. All I asked was if he can replace one piece but his reaction was simple no followed by comments that made me so unwelcome at this place. After making me feel so embarrassed front others, he offered to replace that one piece. Unbelievable... I refused and no I'll never be back to this place.

Great place to stop get some beach snacks and enjoy people watching by the pier. Lots of locals frequent Zack's. A local favorite are the cheese nachos. Several bike rentals are also conveniently located near Zack's.

Dude at the front desk was so rude to me today. I came by today and lined up behind 2 customers. And when they moved to the right to the food only line, i moved up to the express line that says "drinks and snacks only". When i placed my order of 1 water bottle, the tall guy behind the counter with mustache looked at me like I am a scumbag for cutting everyone and told me there a line in a disgusted voice. Immediately i felt like something is wrong. And I politely told him you should take the signs down then. And he replied with oh its for the summer time when its busy, which is totally irrelevant way of denying fault. I left without saying anything because i was so speechless by his words.. not only does he not recognize he is at fault he even try to gas light me into thinking its my fault for seeing a sign that shouldnt have even been up. I believe if you have a sign up for a line and someone goes up to it when it's closed. All you needed to do was say that line is closed nicely, not make the client feel like hes the one at fault and was trying to cut everyone. Everyone in line was super nice about it, only the worker tried to make it seem like its my fault.

Really odd aggressive employees.Went here with friends to get a bike rental. Decided on a bike and the business owner and son were acting extremely aggressive to other patrons and then to us. He walked away to accuse a random person of smoking weed.. then came back and told us to “make up our damn mind” when we already decided on a bike. We walked away and the son and father started to become aggressive and yelling.

Horrible customer service. The guys working there act so entitled and rude, not being accommodating and treated us three girls like a piece of trash. You guys need to work on helping out potential paying customers instead of treating them like they are intruders, just for checking if the bikes fit. Owner yelled at us to make up our mind when we were waking away, shocked at the accusatory rudeness.

We live across the street and often ride out bikes over... During the airshow we stopped by to grab a snack.. My son really wanted an ice cream.. We got to the window and this nice young man names Ace gave my son a sponge bob ice cream the best part was he said " here buddy this ones on me" Thank you for making my sons day! You now have a loyal client for life! Its the small things! Thank you Ace... you rock!
