Candy Cupboard

Placed an online order on 1/30/26. It is 2/13/26 and my order is stuck in Ohio because they did not put enough postage on it. When contacting the company I get the same rude response that everyone else posting on here has received and I was told to file a claim with post office! I wish I would have read these reviews before ordering.

In late October I ordered two dark chocolate nonparells , they shipped only one. I was leaving for Israel, the next day. I bought them as a gift as one of my buddies was a freak for them. They over nighted another two which I received one hour before I left for the airport. I sent her an e mail thanking her for them. So I got home and ordered two of them to keep in the house for the holidays. Received the package yesterday and guess what….only one…..I have left four messages for the owner to call me…..after the last call the girl said the owner said send her an e mail, I told her I wanted a personal call . DO NOT ORDER THERE INCOMPETENT, SO IM OUT ONE JAR OF CANDY OR OUT OF THE $$$$$$$$$

Best quality chocolates also truffle chocolates hand dipped cheesecake with toppings of your choice, caramel apples, bananas was dipped in chocolate with their choice of toppings, ice cream bars with your choice of toppings dipped in chocolate kid candy that we used to have when we were growing up like fake cigarettes, all the movie theater can you couldn’t imagine Candy cover gets all their chocolate from a chocolate factory like Willy Wonka ha ha anyways this place is awesome. I’d give it 10 stars if I could.

Well I most likely will like it when I get the candies I ordered. I have not seen a post with the got order. Should receive when ???? Please let me know. Thank u

Everything we tried on our most recent visit was horrible, I'm sorry. 😂 I'm comparing it to See's Candy of course, because that's what I'm used to. But all the chocolates and candy I tried all tasted like chemicals and inferior ingredients. Please see attached photos, everything tasted horrible. 🤣 I did try the ice cream pop as well - vanilla ice cream with almond topping, and that tasted similar to the old Kirkland food court bars, but the ice cream also tasted like chemicals or fake ice cream. Would not recommend at all.

What can I say besides we Love this place!!!!! Every time we come to Idyllwild we have to stop for our sweets!!!! We start by buying the candies you don’t usually find at the stores..we get our Pop Rocks, and our Chick o Sticks...then we order an old fashioned Ice Cream bar dipped in fresh chocolate and top it with almonds and sprinkles! It is so Delicious and big enough to share! And don’t forget to order a Caramel Apple for the drive... they dip the apple into this semi sweet fresh caramel! They cut it up for you and place it in a box and you can feel the warmth of the caramel... oh so Delicious, so delicious!!!!

Cute store with all sorts of goodies. It is soooo expensive though! I bought one chocolate dipped ice cream bar and it was almost $10.00. Edit to owner response: that is not a great response.

Tasty frozen bananas that our freshly dipped in chocolate and with over 20+ topping options. The toffee one was delicious! Great dairy free alternative to the ice cream in town. They also sell a bunch of old time candies and have homemade desserts in stock.

Ice cream bar was delicious, but candy not so much. Honeycomb and English toffee rock hard. Had to toss. Caramello bar was old. Spent over $50 here and the only good thing was the ice cream.

Was our first time stopping in on Easter Sunday. I’ve seen it so many times when we are in the area wish I went in sooner! Everything we got was amazing g and I’m going to make it a regular thing when we visit now ❤️

I love this place. The candy is fresh and oh so yummy. I bought salted caramels, milk chocolate turtle and toffee bars all wonderful. I’m not sure what I paid but no regrets. I’m going again.
