The food was average - standard breakfast fare, but service was very slow and indifferent. Our waitress stood visiting with another table forever while we waited to even get water. All through the meal it was hard to get anyone’s attention while the three waitresses either chatted with each other or with other tables. Needless to say, not going back.
Love going up to Idyllwild. When we do, we always stop by the Red Kettle restaurant for breakfast. Delicious food and great service. We were dining here the first time my wife and I saw snow fall in our lives. It was a special moment.
The menu is kind of limited to burgers, sandwiches, salads and breakfast. Oh wait, they do have fish tacos...
That said, it's super high quality and big portions. I don't think anyone leaves this place unhappy. The atmosphere and staff are amazing.
