Food is ok. I've tried several times and it's not anything special. This week I ordered a Ceasars salad to go. Got home to eat & the lettuce was mixed greens. Thats not how a Ceasars salad is made. I did call & the girl was nice & offered me a refund. I asked for a credit, thinking I'll give 1 more try

First time visiting Big Kahuna's and it certainly will be a repeat location for us. The food was delicious, the service from Jenn was outstanding and the atmosphere was fun. Jenn's recommendations of the BBQ sandwich and macaroni salad side were spot on. She also suggested a couple local beers that were perfect. This will be a regular dining spot for us and well worth the drive from Coronado Island.

The BBQ burger was so delicious. The onion rings were perfectly crispy. The hospitality was awesome. The nice waitress let me stack my bike on the side of the building and just treated me so kindly. I had just rode 53 miles and had another 40 or so ahead of me. She had a water ready for me with a lemon. Such awesome service! Really made it for me! Mahalo Nui Loa!

I went there on a recommendation from a local while a couple was riding a bike around 2pm on a Friday. It was cool weather at the end of May, the store was clean, and I came to the table to take my order. For food, I ordered two big burgers and one Hawaiian rice. It was delicious and plentiful, so I ate a plate of rice, cut half of the burger, asked for one and a half to be wrapped, gave a tip, and left the restaurant. The rice was said to be a little spicy, but it was salty and I was given soy sauce seasoning, but it wasn't necessary. For your information, I am Korean.
This is a tasty burger! We are visiting from out of town and decided to give this place a try. Huge burgers and really good Hawaiian style bbq. One of the best parts is the amount of cheese on the burgers. It’s not just one thin slice of cheese. You can see, taste and feel the cheese on this burger. There’s also a nice smoke flavor to the burger for the chargrill
