I can't remember the last time I dined in at a Carl's Jr. Perhaps, a drive-thru visit before Covid.

This location was one of my all time favorite in Southbay area, when it use to have a playground (my kids would frequent in the late 90s). Carls Jr also happens to be my former employer when I was in high school.

Lots of changes...Menu changes, price hikes, uniforms, staffing and more empty tables.

What a great surprise when the employee tells me that he has no promotions 🍔 just some potatoes. Late for them to take my order because there is not much staff so before me there was a very large order through the window. The food is what is nothing special. The employees are respectful when serving you. Very expensive prices. I only return if I am in the area and feel like it.

"Vicky at the CarlsJr on 13th Street in Imperial Beach is always incredibly helpful and kind. She provides excellent customer service, always with a smile, and goes out of her way to make sure everything is just right. It’s always a pleasure to be greeted by her, and she really makes each visit to Car Junior a great experience!"
