We really enjoy this place. People are very friendly and welcoming, bartenders know what they're doing and pour generously and the food never disappoints. Great venue to watch local bands.

I've been here a half dozen times over the years. It's a nice crowd. Fun and laughter fill the place. I've gone mostly for breakfast on Sundays. But I've taken dates there twice. We always had fun and the people there on the weekend nights were party happy.
I saw the review from the out of towner who said he left without a drink or lunch. Not sure what happened but as a bar manager myself I drill into my bartenders that the patron always gets an acknowledgement when they walk in the door. If they are busy doing something they let the patron know they will be right there or stop what they are doing and greet or serve them. I can't imagine a bartender in a vet org not doing it. But I wasn't there.

Steak dinner was good

Gone to quite a few celebrations of life there in the past and plans on more in the future as we all are getting older.

Walked in. Wasn’t busy. Lady came out of kitchen to ask if I was having lunch. I said yes. She left me a menu and said she would return. The problem was the bartender. I sat there for about 10 minutes. She never acknowledged me or asked if I wanted something to drink. She just stood there. I am member of vfw legion and FRAnin Norfolk Va. I like to hit them up when I am traveling as I was today. I left without getting a drink or lunch. Veteran groups such as ours need to do better job at welcoming people they don’t know. That’s why our numbers going down.

Food was great.. Drinks on point..Numbers way down especially for veterans day.. Locals need to support the veterans and unlisted %100 more !!!If you recently moved here ..Do the right thing.!!!

The drinks were good the people were friendly. I will definitely be going back there again.
