The worst $18 small pizza I've ever had. First, if you look online, the price was supposed to be $10.50. Even at that price it would be a bad deal. Undercooked, raw dough, overly sweet sauce and very small pizza for the price. Honestly Lil Caesars is a better pizza for the price. Not sure how they are still in

Very old school restaurant from the 60s, great food and service, It has all the classics and specialty dishes. It's not a big restaurant so it doesn't get noisy. Great for a nice

It's was exactly how I remembered it as a kid back in the mid 90s when it was at its original location by 7th street where the study 3 use to be. Great food with great service ? there mushrooms are my goodness can't even describe the deliciousness of them & there ravioli sheesh which ever type you get you'll love it guaranteed the only thing is I remember there meatballs were much bigger kinda a bummer but they are still good ? this restaurant I never want to see it go. This place is awesome ?

Ordeed through door dash, pasta with Italian sausage and pesto. Sauce. There was zero pesto in the dish, nothing more than water logged pasta, and under cooked sausage. Garlic bread was horrible. No silver ware no napkins . Do not order from here.

Very bad service, soup tasted like lukewarm canned cambells. The salad was saturated with some type of cheap low-calorie 99 cent store dressing. The pasta that we ordered was undercooked and under-seasoned, the cheese had melted into a hardened plastic mess; as if the plate was left sitting in the counter this whole time. Overall, my experience was 4/10 at best. I could of bought 60 dollars of ingredients and made this restaurant look like a joke. Do not waste your money here, because if you try to ring up with a debit card/credit card, they will ask for the card details and try to charge you later. I dont even know how this place is in bussiness.

The food was mediocre, the service was great and very personable, the decor is really dated, the restaurant was cold (my wife had to go back to the car to get a long sleeve shirt and a sweatshirt), and besides us the place was empty except for a couple people who came in for pickup orders. We had the Linguine Scampi Alfredo, Gnocchi al Sugo, some garlic bread, Antipasto Salad for two, a glass of house white wine and an iced tea which we switched for a hot tea.The wine tasted like a Gewurztraminer or something along those lines, which I was pleased with. The iced tea was different....maybe a different variety (than regular black tea) like oolong or something. I liked it. The hot tea was regular black. She liked it.The Antipasto salad was alright; fresh from the fridge but nothing wilted or soggy. We liked the addition of giardinera (pickled) veggies. She thought the meats tasted old or stale. The gnocchi weren't tough or overcooked though they were a little overwhelmed by the meat sauce. The sauce itself was good, but thicker than I expected. Not too sweet, maybe a little bitter, needed a touch of salt. I wished I'd ordered mozzarella sticks, cos they would have been very good in this sauce. Didn't taste homemade, but neither did the gnocchi. Well, I wouldn't put in that effort for an empty restaurant either. The Linguine Scampi Alfredo had a white sauce, and the few, very small shrimp probably said 'scampi' on the package, the linguine was spaghetti, and the whole thing was crying for salt. And garlic, and Parmesan, and pepper...and shrimp. The garlic bread was fantastic. Fresh and soft and flavourful. We had a good time. My wife and I enjoy each other's company. The man and woman in the restaurant (I'm guessing the owner and her adult son) were helpful and attentive without hovering or ignoring us. The owner was motherly, caring, and sympathetic. I hope for her sake that the family either takes this restaurant and runs it like they mean it, or just put it to bed already. As it stands, I can't recommend this restaurant or the food.

Gross tasting meat sauce gnocchi with barely any gnocchi. The mozzarella sticks were very firm and the crust was gross.

Ester was wonderful and very attentive. Don’t be fooled by the outsider appearance. Once you walk in the door it’s an old classic Italian restaurant with music to fit the mood. I’ve lived in Imperial Beach for over 23 years and I can’t believe this is my first time here. Don’t let this one slip away.

It was so many Health violations that lost count of this Restaurant. It is very expensive.
