I’m Creole and absolutely LOVE this place. Reminds me of my grandmothers cooking whom is straight outta LOUISIANA. The wait gets timely, but it’s well worth the wait

Worst service in my life. Took them over two and a half hours to serve our group. Never bothered to even offer us water. Restaurant is filthy , poor service and on 09-10-2025 did not pass inspection because they found not in compliance and had vermin.

Fantastic dinner delivered! We had the voodoo bowl and the catfish platter. They were both very good and huge portions. Lunch tomorrow. This was our first time trying, we will be back!!. We had asked for crispy catfish and fries and we got what we asked. Just perfection in what was delivered!
Thank you

I don't know what's going on but they were closed during published hours and creole food sounded great

A quiet little family run spot with incredible food. Everything on the plate was vibrant and flavorful. We split a catfish and shrimp platter for lunch with coleslaw and collard greens and it was perfect. You should definitely stop by if you're in town

This place is amazing. The staff is super friendly. #1 recommend spot in San Diego. Portions are big. Definitely getting a to go plate lol. I love it. I’m from Nola and this is top notch. This the type of restaurant that needs to be in 5 star downtown hotel.

the staff they had were so sweet and funny + the food was amazing i would definitely recommend the beignets, bayou swamp punch, and their seafood mac & cheese if you have a high tolerance for spice!

This place is a little family-run spot. So I'm not going to be a jerk. To be honest, the food was pretty good. However, the service was so slow. We sat for about 30 minutes waiting for the food, which was fine, but we were not offered water, nor did our server bring out our drinks. When our food did come out, we waited about another 20 minutes before we got our drinks. Our server was nice though. Just slow. We got the catfish and fries which were good in general...just too salty for my taste. I loved the gumbo..that was good.

The food from here is amazing. Was actually craving some Cajin/Creole food and didn't know it was about to be authentic! Definitely found a place to add to the list of must stop by when visiting San Diego. The jambalaya, seafood Mac and cheese and even the coleslaw. They spiced the slaw y'all! Felt like home (Houston).
