You go for the donuts and nothing else :) . They are amazing. I read many reviews on the terrible customer service. My unbiased opinion is the owner is friendly enough, but won't win any awards for outstanding customer services. Get there early otherwise, you'll miss out.

First time I've been here, bought 1/2 dozen. There's only one person working there in the morning (didn't see anyone else) he was friendly, but quaint. The donuts were pretty tasty, and for those saying the cinnamon rolls aren't that good, There's a difference between cinnamon rolls and cinnamon Buns (buns are sold here, not rolls) so, they're pretty good. Maybe getting someone to help out in front to make for a more streamline process would help, but again, it's my first impression Overall, definitely good eats

Walked up to the window and said hi how are you? He said fine thank you. I asked for 2 of each. He had pecan donuts and cinnamon rolls left. As he was bagging my "fesh nuts"...I asked him if he was having a good day, he said "I said I'm fine thank you". This man is definitely an introvert, and he intrigued me. The donuts are small and tasty. I do taste the salty lard in them and it's delicious. I like the salty, sweet flavor. Do not come here expecting service with a smile, lol.

Have been to this business on 3 occasions. First, a woman working was sitting in view on her phone for about 4 minutes ignoring customers. Second, the old man working the stand was actively putting away the donuts. I asked if they were open...because he was putting away the donuts. His response was "can't you read the sign". Third, the same man was working and when my friend and I tried to pay with a $20 bill he said he wouldn't accept big bills... so maybe save some $1's I guess. I've never had a store turn away business. Without a doubt this is the worst attitude and service I've ever received at any restaurant. The donuts are average and the service/attitude is awful. I strongly recommend anywhere else and buying a donut only the first time visiting is enough. Mediocre product with awful service.

This place has a tendency to sell out so fast that myself, as a local, haven't been able to catch them open once!Kudos to an amazing business with an amazing product and wonderful ownership.A true legend in Imperial Beach, you absolutely must have donuts here if you come through in the early morning.I caught Cliff as the very first customer this morning at 6:00am My first experience and I left feeling like I met with a celebrity!! ?Love the cinnamon rolls ??can't wait to have to wake up this early again!

Stardust is an Imperial Beach staple! We have been going here since I was a little girl, it’s always a special treat to this day when we get to have some stardust! The cinnamon rolls are my favorite!

I've been at IB for 3 years and it's the first time that I've seen this place open so I had to try. I got the cinnamon roll and I liked it. I'll go back and try their donuts next time I see them open.
