I've lived in the neighborhood for 35 plus years and never thought I would step foot inside Salty Dog bar. Being a non frequent drinker, hole-in-the wall bars just never caught my fancy. And, only then will I entertain a night out unless I'm with the right group of people.

I've been to this bar several times now and it's been nothing but good old fashion fun. You can be yourself and no one bothers you. It's not crazy crowded, at least...

I love this bar! The stage is great for live music and karaoke. They have a nice pool table, good draft variety, and the coolest bartender ever. Shoutout to the beautiful Brynn and the Salty Frog security! 😎 🍻🥳

Not really any food here but my god it was a fun little dive bar with great live music on the weekend. Cheap happy hour and great fun service. If your in imperial beach stop by and have a few beers and don't forget to grt the free popcorn either.
