Save yourself the time and go somewhere else. The overall service is horrible. There are several other places in Imperial Beach where you would receive better service.

Food was decent priced. Eggs were over cooked and I did not get my hashbrowns, that being said the IB scramble was decent.

16.99 for chicken fried stake and the breading dosint even stay on the gravy was gross and the hash browns were from frozen at that price i would at least expect freash food will not come back and the service is bad it's too bad was a nice little spot befor they sold it.
Had an excellent birthday breakfast with my hunnie there this morning... Was awesome food!! He got the chicken fried steak and eggs... I got the i.b. skillet... Both were tasty!!

Very friendly staff and large portions of good quality food. Highly recommend breakfast. We ate here rather than in the hotel opposite. Enjoyed the free coffee refills (which we didn't need to ask for.)

The wave Cafe is sooo greasy and sooo yummmy. Don't plan on going there while on a diet because you'll gain about 10 pounds of goodness each visit. So worth it! Love a great food place to get home cooked meal feels.
