Terrible service had to walk out due to us just sitting there. Couldn't even get our drinks. Went for brunch on.a Sunday and they had maybe 3 people working. Ended up walking out after almost 30 minutes and never even got a drink.

The food was very nice, and to be able to try a new dessert is always great! I would say I enjoyed my time, but the girls were complaining about how cold it was sitting outside. I’d say it’s a good, one time thing unless you find something you really enjoy to come back to.

Needs an update, but I heard that it's coming soon. Food was good, service attentive - when we were slowed to be served at one point they apologized (without us saying anything) and comped our drinks! We thought it wasn't even necessary, so that was added bonus!

It is definitely not the Sea 180 and not even close to the Toasted in La Mesa, they have many things to improve on. Let just hope they do a make over and get things right. Overall it was good but, kitchen staff was slow to deliver meals, appetizer showed up after food was delivered, the esquites came out luke warm, ran out of taquitos, the 1 order that did make it to our table was very tasty but would have liked the shredded leattuce to not have been the same for salads needs to be shredded and not pink/reddish means it was old and guacamole was turning brown which is not fresh, alternatively order brochetta of pimento and chicken- the spread was cold and the bread was toasted but was just not a good flavor combination (might have been better if it was all warmed up). The drinks were great. Ivan our server was great and did what he could for service recovery to make up for the shortcomings of the food and availability.

Had breakfast there and a couple of drinks. Over all a good experience the food was hearty and filled you up. If you're staying at the hotel this is a good stop for a couple of meals.

Oh god, where do I even start? Hot mess express from the beginning. They took over the Sea 180 spot and I've been hesitant about checking it out as I've heard mixed reviews. They didn't do any cleaning or replacement of anything. Just took over an already run down unclean restaurant. Hubs and I went on our walk and decided to pop in as we had a Synergy gift card for $50. I had no intention of eating as it smelled of old breakfast food upon entering. It was about 11:30 on a Friday. Disorganized front desk/hostess team who didn't seem to know right from left. We were seated outside. Lovely, of course. Took forever for the server to come over. Asked for water, iced tea, and a dirty martini with blue cheese stuffed olives. Took the server a good 5 min to type it in the machine thingy. 10 min later, no water, or drinks. I flagged the server down in an very uncrowded restauant, maybe 5 tables taken, and ask for the water. She said it was coming out. I mean, I could see it behind me, I should've just got up and got it myself. Then the tea comes with melted ice and my warm dirty martini with regular olives. I'd asked the server where the blue cheese olives were and she said they must not of had any. Umm I probably wouldn't have ordered that drink. Anyway, she finally took the food order. Hubs got the Cobb salad and "waygu" burger. Food came out 20 min later. Not sure why. Food was cold, fries were cold and old. "Waygu" burger was clearly a frozen non "waygu" patty. Overcooked and oozed this weird red stuff. Maybe bbq sauce? Cold, old, and disgusting. The Cobb salad was mediocre at best. Dry hard chicken and drenched in dressing. I wish I took a photo of it. The burger was shared with hubby and was inedible. That was my half. They also had a difficult time figuring out how to use the gift card. Get your ish together Toasted. We tipped 20% and won't be back. Such a shame as we love patronizing the local businesses.

Our server was excellent! The food was great, and I loved the salmon toast - it was fulfilling and delicious. Minus one star for corrosion and paint needed in some spots, and beachside patio glass needs cleaned. Good overall and would go back again!
