We happened to stop in looking for a restroom and not only found a super clean restroom but met the owners, Paul and Joyce. Incredibly kind, wonderful people who make their own homemade ice cream. They bring in the highest quality cream, all natural -no carrageenan, no high fructose corn syrup. Best tasting ice cream and flavors! This is a must stop when passing through Independence. What a treat!

Best ice cream I’ve ever had. The owners are very helpful and they tell you all about the delicious flavors and the names they can come up with, such as “Winter is coming”, “coconut clouds “, “the drive home “, etc. You must try them all if you can.

We stopped here on our way home from Crowley Lake. It's such an awesome ice cream shop. We spoke to the owners who were really sweet. They make all their ice cream on Tue, Wed, and Thur and are closed on those days. Open on Fri, Sat, Sun, and Mon.The ice cream was amazing! They have a lot of different unusual flavors to choose from. This is definitely a place you'll want to visit. I know we'll be back ? ?The business is very neat and tidy with very clean bathrooms ? ?

Hidden gem that we found on our way back from Mount Whitney. Lots of interesting flavors and I recommend to all that are coming through Independence CA (Couldn’t take a pic of my ice cream as I ate it too fast)
This was the best ice cream I have ever had. They also have non-dairy options or- if you have trouble with lactose and really want some of their delicious homemade ice cream, just ask for a tab...that's right, they know how irrisistable their flavors are and have lactaid chewable tablets for those people like me with milk product sensitive stomachs ?. From now on, I am stopping here on my trips to and from the Eastern Sierras.

We were excited to stop by this ice cream shop. Unfortunately, we were extremely disappointed with our visit. We walked into the store and you would have thought two lepers entered. There was a older gentleman talking with a couple of people. He saw us, but didn't smile or greet us. He didn't even bother saying, "someone will be with you shortly." A female employee came out and looked like she was annoyed to have to serve us. Neither of the store employees were friendly with us. The ice cream was okay. The vibe here was bad and I would not recommend coming here.
