Don't be fooled. This place is a legitimate gourmet experience disguised as a mild mannered cafe and sandwich shop. The Charcut was the best sandwich I have ever eaten- period. The Aussie was also amazing. We also recommend the Matcha latte with pistachio milk. The portions here a generous and the ingredients are obviously high quality. The staff is also very personable. Highly recommended.

Let me get right to the point. This sandwich does not meet the standard of an $20 sandwich with tip. There is hardly any meat, the bread does not remotely resemble a baguette that one would get in France. I guess the Gen Z, Millennials that give it high marks have not eaten at the Mona LIsa or Marketplace deli in San Diego. There was hardly any meat. But really the sandwich which I had a few bites and threw away does not cut it. The soggy fat bread is even below what you get at a Subway. So save yourself the time and money and go to Jersey Mikes.

I just had the world’s best sandwich. The Char char which was today’s special…I can’t even tell you the effort they just put into these. The ingredients..incredible. There house umami aioli and the yuzu kosho hot honey on the side to dip it in???? are they even serious…they really know what they are doing here….AND everything organic and seed oil free. We found heaven. I truly don’t think there’s a better restaurant and definitely not a better sandwich and salad spot in the world. Don’t forget their lattes and fresh baked delicious mouth watering treats. And their cute drawings on them. Thank you for a truly epic experience.

A little taste of Europe? I don't think so, we had the Laparma and Mombo Italiano sandwiches, they were both mediocre at best. The 'baguette' is huge and mushy, the cheese and cold cuts were tasteless and completely overpowered by whatever 'spreads' they put on. Nothing Italian about those and super overpriced
