I wasn't super impressed overall, but it was decent food. Fish tacos were good!

I rarely give five stars for anything but the food the service and the atmosphere is amazing. We enjoyed our quick dinner last night and I enjoyed the breakfast buffet this morning!

The food exceeded our expectations. However, despite the friendly servers, they did a poor job, leaving dirty plates, not refilling water, really late food etc. The dining room felt like a cafeteria which was mismatched from the menu. You could see breakfast cereal bar items out and a big heavy curtain hiding what looked like a lunch buffet area. Definitely not a date night vibe.
Gave me 3 diferentes cups all had hairs on them the employee named Joe was either tired or something because he keep forgetting everything.

The food was overcooked. We ordered two half chicken dinners, and the chicken was dry and it wasn't a half chicken, it was two pieces of tiny thighs. We ordered a salmon dish, and the salmon was dry/overcooked. The steak dish, tasted like it was cooked in the microwave. Not great.
Driest chicken sandwich I have ever had. An ice tea was 9$!!!!!! A coke was a reasonable 5$. 3 times we had to get up from our seat to go find a server. No bueno!
There is no ambience, it's a cafeteria. Waiter was nice.....should have known something was up because we were the only ones there. Ordered steaks, mine medium, well hers well. When they arrived after about 30 mins mine was like leather and hers like rare red. They had it -backwards steak tasted like salt. We sent them back and at least they took them off of the bill. We left to go find some palaetable food elsewhere.
I'm giving five stars because our waiter, Miguel was an absolute sweet heart! The best service we've gotten in a while. He was very nice and recognized us from a previous time we had visited. The food was pretty good, not terrible. My husband's burger was good, he liked that it wasn't falling apart but still had adequate Meat and sauce. My son got the butter pasta and thought it was pretty good. My salad was good, I got the date salad and added salmon. Really liked the raspberry sauce on the cheesecake. Thank you Miguel for your great service and thoughtful gestures! You have a heart of gold!

The food is delicious, and the service needs some improvement. Check in on your customers a little more.

Our overall experience was just ok. We asked for bread with our meal and were told that they don't have any bread. The food was overpriced. A glass of ice tea was $9. The portions were small. They said that they were operating with a quick fire menu which was very limited and more expensive than the standard menu.

After waiting for our food more than an hour and thirty minutes we left. The manager doesn't care only comes out when called instead of going to every table and apologizing to everyone that was been waiting awhile for their food. Don't come here if your hungry
I'll be honest, I don't like to give horrible reviews. But I just couldn't squeeze out a 2nd star for this restaurant located by the pool in the Renaissance Indian Wells Resort & Spa.
The service was bad, the food took forever, and when it arrived, I wouldn't even call it tasty.
The restaurant was less than half full, yet our food for a party of 2 took about 1 hr 15 minutes to be served. During that time, we didn't get one drink refill offered to us.
When the food came, my $50 NY Steak was a gristly mess. I ate about half of it and just left the rest.
A pricey restaurant like this has a few shots at being good.

Unfortunately, CAVA didn't meet my expectations on any of these.
Employees threatening to tamper with food
quiet hotel restaurant, small menu, items were presented professionally with attention to culinary excellence.
Dinner for 4 at Cava was unimpressive. We had a nice table by the window. Wasn't too busy. Glassware was dirty & spotted and not replaced when brought to attention. Two other tables were seated after us and helped, before anyone even came to our table. Order came out incorrect. Three of us had the restaurant week menu which seemed like a good deal, and three of us also had drinks which were outrageously priced, so when the final bill came, it added up to be as much as eating at a steakhouse!!
