This place is a must if you are looking for good chilaquiles! I've tasted a few from around the valley but the sauce does not compare to the one used here. 10/10! The service is always prompt and friendly. We usually get takeout but the one time we did eat in, we had no complaints.

The chilaquiles burrito was amazing. It was the best Mexican food iv had in a while. Issa gave us the best service. I'll recommend this place to everyone I can!

group of friends and i stayed at a airbnb in Indio and were recommended to eat here. we have no regrets! love that this is a family owned and operated restaurant. you can feel the love right off the bat. big shoutout to Isa who helped us with our huuuge takeout order! 10/10 on all things we ate and also recommend:burrito de chilaquiles, del rojo, del verde, iced horchata coffee (!!!) and te de flor. (sorry we got no pics of the food, we ate it all too fast!)can't wait to sit down and eat here when we come back!

What a great restaurant! First time passing through Indio. I ordered chilaquiles divorciados (chile verde y rojo) and tacos dorados (de papa). Plus, café de olla. Wow!!! Great authentic flavors, perfect portions, clean restaurant and restroom, friendly staff, and best of all- affordable pricing ! You can't beat it. This will be my 'must-visit' restaurant every time I am in town visiting / or passing by the Palm Springs area! I highly recommend it :)

Cynthis Rosales. The lady who left a a bad review is just making things up. Almost every mexican restaurant i go to writes all orders down. She doesn't under stand that the small machine they use to charge your debit/credit card has all the records of the sales they made. It's newest thing at almost all businesses. Just goes to show how uneducated people are now a days. She's just mad at the prices. Go some where else then. They don't need your business. Del taco is down the street. Much cheaper.

These people got famous for their tamales from the festival, try ordering tamales by the dozen to go, and they always say they ran

Great food, service, and atmosphere. But it’s pricey, and the portions are small, even before the prices of dining out went up.

I love the chilaquiles here, however every time i visit the portions are always getting smaller. They rub a tea spoon amount of beans on the bottom of the plate. You only get a small amount of food which doesn’t make the price worth it. Speaking of price, the way they charge here is a little weird. As you order, the ordertaker is writing down your order and if you decide to pay with card, the order taker types in the amounts to her phones calculator and adds taxes on her calculator and then types in the full amount into the machine where you pay with card. They ask you if you’d like to tip which is weird since you’re standing and ordering your order before even sitting down or receiving any kind of service. You don’t get a receipt unless you ask for it. I think the IRS should definitely pay this merchant a visit because something is off by the way they take orders.

My husband convinced me to give this place a try for brunch this morning. I was hesitant because I find it challenging to eat at many authentic Mexican restaurants as a vegan (and no Yelp reviews mentioned vegan, so here I am). However, my eager omni husband called in advance for me, and we gave it a chance. The Tacos Dorados (potato tacos) were DELICIOUS. The rice is not vegan-friendly so I just stuck to the beans without cheese, and I was super satisfied. We started with chips and guac as well, which was so fresh and delicious. Their corn tortillas are some of the best I've ever had. The dining room was very simple, no frills, interesting table layout, clean atmosphere. The coffee was very sweet, probably not something I'd order again but I'm very grateful they had oat milk!We ordered at the counter, service was very low touch and we had to get up to ask for water, which was not a big deal because it worked with the casual vibe. There were about 3-4 other tables there at the time. I'm definitely looking forward to returning next time I'm in Indio and craving some delicious vegan-friendly Mexican food. Love that it's family owned and operated too. Always happy to support local small businesses!

We used to love this place but the last 2 times we went for lunch they were not serving, I have never had this happen. Also they are frequently out of tamales. Why not make more??It is a shame as the food is very good.Lost us as customers.

Authentic, af. Loved it, after a long weekend of dancing ? ?I got the Chilaquiles Divorciados y un café de horchata. Rojo is a bit more hot than Verde, so expect that.
