Hands down the best sushi in the Coachella Valley! The restaurant itself is beautiful, with a welcoming atmosphere that makes the whole dining experience feel special. The staff was incredibly attentive, making sure everything was perfect from start to finish. A highlight of the night was when the chef personally came by our table—such a thoughtful touch that made us feel truly valued. Every bite was fresh, flavorful, and artfully prepared. Can’t wait to come back
I don't recommend this place
We love La Quinta and sushi. To find a really nice sushi restaurant in La Quinta, feels like heaven on earth. A double whammy. Not only is their restaurant really inviting, clean and beautifully decorated in a tasteful way, the owner Yonhee is gracious, generous and helpful and Tiam, the host/ main waiter is so friendly and attentive. He went above and beyond in terms of making our experience as wonderful as it was. The kids were enamored by the purple rice experience and the sushi earned their 5 star review!!!! We can’t wait to be back.
Had great service. The sushi was very fresh not so sure about the purple rice on the California roll. Was quiet when we went but I liked the restaurant and will be back!
Our family of four visited for the first time last night. My two kids loved the purple rice and the Fried Spicy Tuna. Great service, great food. Highly recommend this place for sushi lovers.
Some of the best sushi I have had. My go to test, can the sushi bar make a good salmon skin handroll? Here, absolutely it my top 3 EVER! The restaurant was very clean, staff friendly and our server was outstanding. Always ready with whatever we needed. Lastly the food was absolutely delicious. This is now my go to sushi place in the CV!
Absolutely the best sushi in town! Fantastic sake selection as well! Fresh and delicious!
The food and service were great, but it was distracting to have a ball game going on a big screen TV quite close to our table. I think they should lose the television.
Such a lovely experience from the warm welcome, professional service and fun ambience. Our waiter Tian was patient and helpful throughout our visit and the food was absolutely delicious. The perfect place for a date night or a social gathering. Looking forward to our next visit already 😋 🍣 ❤️
had such an amazing time ! the food was delicious ! fish was amazing ! they noticed from the reservation my last name was the same name as a sake and they had one for us when we arrived ! such a sweet gesture :) happy to have an amazing sushi place here in the valley !

Excellent food! Fabulous service!
Very disappointed. Just picked a to go order.
Steak skewers.. Black and burnt and inedible .
I could smell the burnt smell in the car driving home. They probably burnt them and thought they’d throw in a to go order, because no one would accept them in the restaurant.,
Teriyaki Chicken .. flavorless
Kimchi Fried rice was also flavorless and tasted nothing like the dish we had last year.
Cucumber salad also bland.
We “ate in” last year and did not care for the Sushi so we thought we’d give it another try and ordered off the cooked menu. Last year the Kimchi fried rice was delicious, so I was
anxious to try again, huge disappointment.
$80 with tip.
Never go back and never recommend.
Best sushi in the area. We go everytime we are in town.
New York airport prices for Albuquerque strip mall sushi - what’s not to love!
I’m assuming these fish are hand caught by magical Japanese spearfisherwomen, then crafted into bespoke dishes by Japanese sous-chefs flown across the pacific in bi-weekly rotations.
Save your shekels for Okura Robata.
We liked this place so much we went twice while visiting the area for a week. All of the food we had (katsu, wings, multiple rolls) was fresh and tasty, and the service was top notch.
