I had dinner here during a brief stay in Indio. The location was within easy walking distance of my motel so it was very convenient. The restaurant is pretty good-sized with nice decor, and it appeared to be well maintained. I was seated right away. The chips and salsa were good, though the salsa was a bit spicier than I might have preferred. I ordered a combination chicken enchilada and chile relleno, which came with rice and beans, and also had a draft Negra Modelo. The food was tasty, though unlike the salsa it actually could have used a touch more spice kick. Oddly, the only condiment on my table wasn't hot sauce but soy sauce! Overall my meal was good though not a standout, and I thought it was rather pricey for what it was, not a particularly good value. Given that I'd probably look for another dinner option if I'm staying in the area again.

Being from South Texas, I was disappointed with the whole experience. But, different strokes for different folks. This place is not for me.

Pro: The wait staff was attentive and the atmosphere was comfortable. Con: I can’t believe that the “5 star” reviews are real. This is a very high priced restaurant with small portions of subpar food. The chile Colorado beef was very tough, as was the minuscule pieces of beef in the tacos dorado. The $16 dollar margarita was an awful waste of money for a cheap mix with a terrible flavor.
Excellent Mexican food and good variety. Friendly waitstaff and bartender. Great drinks and very reasonable prices.
This place is always great. Looks like the changed their menu, since our last visit. We come out every few months. Also seems like the enchiladas were smaller. But super yummy as always. Drinks are so good. This place is my favorite

The food was just okay, nothing spectacular, overpriced, and a cranky server as well.
