IDK Restaurant Mexican & American Food

I had the asada plate with a glass bottled coke, it came with chips and salsa, tortillas, rice and beans, some fried green onions, fresh radish and cucumber, avocado and a cooked jalapeño pepper a green and an orange colored salsa, I told (who I believe was the) the owner who served me that he has a new fan of his restaurant and that I would return again soon. This restaurant looks very clean but for some reason it was pretty much empty of patrons. Friends, you need to get in here and give it a try if you are seeking some delicious, authentic Mexican food, they also serve American food.

Had this giant thing called a "Machete" and it was delicious, chill environment, owner was very nice.

Never been there,someone is not cool for doing me like this.

Great desserts all in house! Wet burrito with chicken was So Big I could only eat half. Really good homemade salsa with fresh cilantro in it. Nothing was too spicy but very flavorful. Very good portion for price and quality. Every thing was very clean. Large capacity for parties and catering also available. Easy access on Indio Blvd.

We loved the food! Huge portions that are definitely worth the money. The server was super friendly and even joked around with us.Hopefully we will visit again before we head home.

Everything about this renovated restaurant is excellent! I used to come eat there as a kid, as we traveled from L.A. to Mexicali... and now it's amazing.

The food was amazing and the hospitality was also great. Our server was super nice and he was really funny.

Had the asada and al pastor tacos they were very bland and the meat chewy. Sorry but not very good. Just go to Tapatio down the street.

Everything that we have order has taste great specially the MACHETE, is HUGE easily for 2 or 3 people I'm so picky for mexican food this place doesn't disappoint. Highly recommend.

Good food and atmosphere. George is a good host. Go eat there every tuesday with friends. Portions are filling and tasteful.

Kid-friendliness: Menu for kids is great. My niece loves the food

Wow! Tried their famous cheeseburger for the first time, and I have to admit I don't usually go out of my way to write reviews, but this restaurant certainly took the cake as my favorite. Not only is the food fantastic, but the service was wonderful. The waiter here was very warm and welcome, something that is quite rare in the restaurant world. Would definitely recommend coming here if you enjoy family owned businesses.
