I rarely give negative reviews, but i have to for this place. I’ll start with the good…. The server was awesome! So pleasant and helpful. The place is really cool. Huge place with a great sports bar and plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Very cool vibe. The negatives are about my experience with the food. Very few gluten free options and everything is cross contaminated. I had coleslaw and it was tasteless. The worst I’ve ever had. I also had loaded baked potatoes and they were just ok. Overall i loved the vibe and service. Disappointed with food selection. I suggest that just due to the vibe, you give it a second chance.

We Went here recently for our 5 year anniversary and never been before so wanted to check it out . The food and atmosphere was great. Our waitress Alicia was very friendly, welcoming and helped us with the menu. The bbq was worth the trip and we liked the cowboy southwestern theme. We will definitely come back n if ya'll are in the area check it out. Get the brisket 😉

The smoked turkey had no smoke profile, very disappointing. To add to that the bill came and the amount was incorrect, we were told it was because the price that was charged came with a dessert. It was 3 dollar different which to me doesn’t add up as a truthful answer. I wouldn’t recommend eating at this location.

Been an Indio resident for a while now and forget about this beautiful restaurant (that feels like a venue). Jesse was our awesome server and the food and cocktails were great. We sat by a firepit with the waterfall behind us and it was a super nice vibe. Great space for groups too - I need to remember when planning parties for next year!

What an awesome experience! If you love BBQ food, you’ve got to come here. The Wagyu Beef Brisket was insane. Mac & Cheese side made it all even better. The cornbread is the best I’ve had anywhere. Server Tania was really friendly, thanks for a great night ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

Great food. Took our kids here and they loved their food. Great ambiance outdoors with a big field where the kiddos can play. Thoroughly enjoyed everything about the place.
This was a hard one for me to write because it is solely regarding the Thanksgiving Buffet dinner which was a fixed menu event. First and foremost we LOVE Jackalope Ranch, the food, the service and especially the atmosphere. This evening however was not the best and we did expect more considering we know how great they usually are when we dine at their location. The staff upon entering was welcoming and fabulous. We sat outside, were seated promptly and the weather and outdoor heaters kept us perfectly warm. It took a few minutes before our server made it to our table however understandable considering it was Thanksgiving. We ordered drinks yet again it took awhile before she came back with them. We asked how the buffet worked and she finally explained. At this point we rarely saw her again and to clear any dirty plates also stacked up even though we were a party of 4. The buffet was good (now Wow for $75 each) and there definitely was a variety of items however it looked and felt picked over by 6pm, it really just needed more refreshing. The carving station had a long line and the Prime Rib was hard to cut as no steak knives were offered. During our whole time dining we really never saw our Server again. She didn't check in during the dining only at the end. When the bill came, there was an automatic 22% gratuity we noticed which worked out to her receiving an $85 tip from us. We definitely would not have tipped this much as the service we received from our server was fair at best. She was however very friendly when giving us the final bill. In closing, we will definitely continue to go to Jackalope Ranch as we do love it and think it is a fantastic place to dine and bring friends, just not on a holiday.
My original plan was to just have a glass of wine before I headed to another local restaurant for a solo turkey dinner but found myself swindled into the $75 buffet! Well really, the ambiance and decor. It really is a nice restaurant and plenty of TVs including a very large screen for the games, which I appreciated. The buffet selection was fair and the food was ok; definitely not worth $75!! I probably would never do that again but Jessica was GREAT! I will be back even if the buffet wasn't the best, to try something different, and for Sunday football games.

Long story short, the hostess at Jackalope Ranch seated a walk-in party of 6 ahead of my reserved party of 7 while we were waiting in the lobby. I had checked in before the reservation time and was told it just needed a setup. When I informed the hostess that she had just given away my reserved table, she asked me who I had spoken too. She and another worker were unable to find a table for my party and only kept saying they were so busy, to which I replied, “That is why I made a reservation!” No one at the restaurant apologised or took any kind of responsibility for the mess up. We told them thanks for their help, and walked out the door. One hundred percent will not go there again. I don't usually write negative reviews, everyone has bad days. But I am still unhappy about this night, that was supposed to be a birthday celebration for my daughter.
Food was very good and expensive. Service was very slow. Food was cold when it finally arrived. I would not recommend this restaurant.
The food wasn't as good as usual. We were in the bar for happy hour and had three different servers at our table. Everyone got their drinks and meals at different times.
Ribs and brisket had excellent flavor. Waiter was courteous. The ambiance has a modern rustic feel. If you like BBQ this is a must try....will return.
