This was a hard one for me to write because it is solely regarding the Thanksgiving Buffet dinner which was a fixed menu event. First and foremost we LOVE Jackalope Ranch, the food, the service and especially the atmosphere. This evening however was not the best and we did expect more considering we know how great they usually are when we dine at their location. The staff upon entering was welcoming and fabulous. We sat outside, were seated promptly and the weather and outdoor heaters kept us perfectly warm. It took a few minutes before our server made it to our table however understandable considering it was Thanksgiving. We ordered drinks yet again it took awhile before she came back with them. We asked how the buffet worked and she finally explained. At this point we rarely saw her again and to clear any dirty plates also stacked up even though we were a party of 4. The buffet was good (now Wow for $75 each) and there definitely was a variety of items however it looked and felt picked over by 6pm, it really just needed more refreshing. The carving station had a long line and the Prime Rib was hard to cut as no steak knives were offered. During our whole time dining we really never saw our Server again. She didn't check in during the dining only at the end. When the bill came, there was an automatic 22% gratuity we noticed which worked out to her receiving an $85 tip from us. We definitely would not have tipped this much as the service we received from our server was fair at best. She was however very friendly when giving us the final bill. In closing, we will definitely continue to go to Jackalope Ranch as we do love it and think it is a fantastic place to dine and bring friends, just not on a holiday.

My original plan was to just have a glass of wine before I headed to another local restaurant for a solo turkey dinner but found myself swindled into the $75 buffet! Well really, the ambiance and decor. It really is a nice restaurant and plenty of TVs including a very large screen for the games, which I appreciated. The buffet selection was fair and the food was ok; definitely not worth $75!! I probably would never do that again but Jessica was GREAT! I will be back even if the buffet wasn't the best, to try something different, and for Sunday football games.

Long story short, the hostess at Jackalope Ranch seated a walk-in party of 6 ahead of my reserved party of 7 while we were waiting in the lobby. I had checked in before the reservation time and was told it just needed a setup. When I informed the hostess that she had just given away my reserved table, she asked me who I had spoken too. She and another worker were unable to find a table for my party and only kept saying they were so busy, to which I replied, “That is why I made a reservation!” No one at the restaurant apologised or took any kind of responsibility for the mess up. We told them thanks for their help, and walked out the door. One hundred percent will not go there again. I don't usually write negative reviews, everyone has bad days. But I am still unhappy about this night, that was supposed to be a birthday celebration for my daughter.

Food was very good and expensive. Service was very slow. Food was cold when it finally arrived. I would not recommend this restaurant.

The food wasn't as good as usual. We were in the bar for happy hour and had three different servers at our table. Everyone got their drinks and meals at different times.

The food was great, our server Makenna was outstanding. It was a terrific experience overall.

Unfortunately we were sat by the bar outside. The table right there were very rude group of young men, language was very unnecessary, they were never told that how they acted was very offensive. Hopefully next visit will be more family oriented. Mary Zakrzewski We were on vacation and brought friends and it was quite embarrassing.

Reservation at 6. Unclear if table was ready, so seated by 6:05. Didn't see a server till 6:20. She couldn't forgot her "order book" so disappeared. Drinks & Water didn't make it to the table till 6:40. Food arrived at 7:05. Once it arrived, the food was great. And the outdoor ambiance is excellent. But it was tough to spend so much time totally neglected and thirsty.

Would have given five stars except for one thing. The server was great, but the service was slow. Our server apologized explaining that they were in the midst of serving dinner to a very large wedding party. Unfortunately one member of our party was a wiggly tired child. Also another in our party did not get exactly what he ordered. This was just “one of those nights”! Having dined here previously last night's experience was not the norm. Always had great service before!! Will still recommend Jackalope Ranch for families, for anyone looking for a relaxed atmosphere, and for a great variety of menu options including GF.

Bringing our out of town family to J-lope is always a treat. The new management has gotten their act together and turned this place around from years before. Food was great, service from Brandon, the best and we had a terrific time.

They have on their menu that they charge a split fee. Then the waiters make a big deal out of the fact that they don't like it. We ordered the meat BBQ platter that was $72 and there were three women sharing it and we were also ordering the mac & cheese, the full size. The waiter said he is supposed to charge a split fee. I found that really strange because do they really intend the $72 meat platter to be eaten by one person and not shared? And he said yes, that people do order it on their own. At the end of the day, he did not charge us the split fee, but it is uncomfortable to have to deal with it and negotiate it.

Fathers day. Except for the chicken all the other meats were dried out. They all have the same sauce not very tangy for a barbecue sauce. The macaroni and cheese was fair the ranch beans were good the desserts were mediocre. Two meals one drink $167. We were robbed!

Cool spot - service was good- food mediocre for me. Problem was the bacon bits on the potato skins and wedge salad. They were so hard I chewed with caution. The brisket sandwich was enjoyed.

we had no idea that this was buffet only. one of the guests was celiac and vegetarian. nothing worth $55. Plus they added 22% gratuity to all bills....for the buffet. we wouldn't have minded about that but the service for our drink orders was extremely slow...and he got it wrong.
