Loco Charlie's Mexican Grill

I have been craving fish tacos lately. I did not want cheap takeout, just authentic Mexican food. Pulling into the parking lot, I was happy to see that the Disabled spots were directly in front of the business making an easy straight forward walk into Loco Charlie's. Some eateries provide parking spots but over to the furthest side. Walking up to the patio was an entertaining view of dummies and signs that were very welcoming. The patio area had water misters and seating under a cover. I heard that they recently did a makeover and I was impressed by the colorful characters and writings on the walls. The bar was inviting and beautiful and in my opinion, should have been full of patrons. I am sure it is in the evenings. My server was Michealla and she approached my table promptly. She asked if I wanted chips and salsa and if I wanted mild. I said yes so before I knew it she brought the chips, salsa, water, and a menu. I ordered the fish taco but was not certain if I wanted the grilled or fried fish. She had a friendly personality and was eager to help me decide and recommended the fried fish. So I ordered one fried fish taco and a diet-Pepsi. The fish taco took a little longer than expected, but people in today’s fast-paced world, are so used to order and receive almost immediately. Realizing that the food here is made of fresh ingredients, I was patient. It was definitely worth the wait! My server was right about the fried fish when she stated earlier that it was “really good.” I was not disappointed. The taco was large in size, crisp but eatable tortilla, fried but not oily fish, a ton of slaw on top which had a perfect splash of taste to satisfy anyone. Kudos to the chef!. They are following pandemic social distancing with masks and the staff wore them. This was a very welcoming establishment and I HIGHLY recommend this bar and grill for anyone who craves the best in Mexican food. All in all, it was a good relaxing experience and I will be returning!

This is for the Palm Springs store. STOP PREMAKING YOUR TACO SHELLS!! YOU'RE RUINING YOUR TACOS!! Half the time, you can't chew the tortilla! I know it's probably faster to do it that way, but the QUALITY is HORRIBLE! Make them like you did when you first opened, they were GREAT! Put the meat in the tortilla, close it with toothpicks, and DROP THEM BABIES IN THE DEEP FRYER, LIKE TACOS ARE SUPPOSED TO BE MADE!! Honestly, I'd rather pay extra at Las Casuelas, THEIR TACOS ARE DELICIOUS, AND MADE CORRECTLY!! BTW, the renovations to the PS store came out GREAT.

Horrible shrimp burrito - one of the worst we've tried. Few shrimp with bland rice and bean sludge. Nowhere near worth it. Won't be back.

Stop there often when charging my Model S. The food and drinks are good and the pricing is reasonable. I recommend it.

Good food and fun place for group lunch. Staff is exceptionally nice and efficient.

This is the second time I got to see a performance from LaDaryl and Rebecca Rodriguez. They bring fun and excitement to having a long work week. Everyone looking to get down funky, then this is the place. Food is great and atmosphere is warm and friendly. See for yourself and have a great time.

Very nice establishment, ordered the margarita and the enchilada rancheros, both were fantastic and Kelly was amazing and very attentive. Would recommend to anyone in search of great mexican food and friendly staff! 10 out of 10!

Went for lunch only because my boss invited me there for a buisness meeting.I would have never gone there on my own because i had herd the food was not good.Ordered fish tacos,and had to send them back because the sour cream on them was spoiled.They had a sign on the table promising free food in exchange for good online reviews,so i would question the high ratings they have here and maybe on other sites.👎

Very good place! I was on my lunch break for an hour and they had my order to my table really quick. Enough to enjoy it and still have some time to relax. Service was amazing and the food was delicious the beans are super good the best ive tasted in any restaurant I highly recommend this place I will be coming back again

Second time eating here and the food was much better. The chicken fajitas i give a 5/5. It seems management has been taking their reviews seriously. Server was friendly. I recommend Loco Charlie's.
