Just meh.
After a long day at Coachella, we were looking for a good local spot outside the festival grounds—and Maxcy’s Grill hit the spot. It’s a solid, no-frills diner-style place that delivers exactly what you’d expect. The food was fresh, portions were generous, and the service was friendly. For what it is and where it is, Maxcy’s is a great choice if you’re in the area and want a satisfying meal without the crowds or high prices of the festival.
Solid place to get a great breakfast. Not fancy but reliable. The pancakes are my favorite
Had the chile Verde special. It was so delicious. The service was great. Thank you.

First of all 1 cook in the kitchen. Took 30 min to get our order and it was not busy. I ordered a cheeseburger with fries and no oñions. Brings it out and I wait to bite it as the fries were gona take another 2-3 minutes. Normally they come out together. Fries finally show up and bite the burger, surprise! It has oñions!! Burger is cold and bland. Drinks were also brought out late. Girl said I forgot to bring your drinks. Another burger was supposed to be lettuce wrapped, and it was not. Simple instructions. This place has gone downhill.

Excellent breakfast of sausage, eggs, hash browns and English muffin. I'll be back.

I kind of got bait and switched. The menu photo posted online claimed to be a few months old but prices on the actual menu have increased 40-50%. My breakfast burrito was $13++. If it were a great burrito (it wasn't) filled to the max with all the goodies (again, no) I wouldn't have been so disappointed.
The taters were mushy, there was sporadic meat and cheese and the eggs were fine. I prefer mine with beans but that's ok; I didn't ask for them.
The place was empty and with the MASSIVE price increase I'm not surprised. I understand we are in inflationary times but as someone associated with the restaurant business, one needs to constantly assess costs and prices.
