At least once a week we eat HERE. I’m making my way thru the menu. The chili verde burrito is to die for. Excellent service, friendly, family owned. You can reserve tables, but not necessary. The Cadillac margaritas are deeelicious. Don’t miss this restaurant and put it on your ‘have to go here’ places to eat.... we’ve taken take out, but love eating there.Parking: It’s in the Walmart shopping area.Kid-friendliness: This is a family restaurant, have 5-6 TVs, two separate large rooms for eating. One, used for large parties, any size.... especially holidays...Wheelchair accessibility: Single level, table height.

We didn't have a reservation, but the warm welcome and recommendation from one of the other patrons standing in line - gave us confidence that we had made a good choice. We wasn't disappointed! We had the tacos and enchiladas.. which were both excellent! I would also highly recommend the Cadillac Margaritas.. great place I will definitely go back when in the area.

This is a family owned and managed restaurant serving fantastic and original Mexican food. You can order items that are from the family recipes and of course, many traditional Mexican entrees and sides!Service is always done as if you are part of the family - friendly, warm and attentive! We think Soul of Mexico is a treasure and are so happy it is available to all of us here in the Coachella Valley.

We usually have experienced great food & service. Last night was disappointing! The waiter seemed very hurried to take our order. When it arrived I had to send it back as they put wrong dressing on salad, no avocado and had to ask for it. Not a big deal but meal was returned cold when my meal was served. Probably won't be returning anytime soon.

It was excellent and service was great. Can't wait to go back. The Cadillac margaritas were the best I have ever had. We enjoyed eating there and 3 of us took up the table from 4 to 9:30 and they never rushed us.

If ordering takeout website prices are wrong substantially.Our entrées advertised as $17.95 on website. At checkout charged $21.95 per entrée. Ask price when ordering. Portions were small too.
I have eaten at this restaurant several times and enjoyed it every time. Today while I was waiting for my dog to be groomed I decided to go grab an appetizer. I ordered the ceviche both with shrimp and fish. It was excellent.

We are staying at an RV Park in Indio and wanted some Mexican Food. We googled and came up with Soul of Mexico. It is located in a shopping center and the place is nicely decorated.My wife ordered the carnitas and I had the fish tacos. Our food came out in a timely fashion and both dishes were excellent. Our server was attentive and our overall experience was very good.We would go back again.

Delicious! Went for a birthday party! Service good considering 2 long tables! Food come out pretty fast, we came late but food came out during same time as other guests! Big screen tv's for football! Mixed drinks, beer on tap and bottles! Try it out. Chips and salsa typical but salsa was delicious!
