Not the same after reopening. Very disappointing.

Had a Bloody Mary…they make them with store bought mix now. The classic wedge salad now tastes like a Dennys side salad with Kraft blue cheese dressing. Burger was still pretty good I do admit.
Overall it appears that they have done away with what once made them special.

The food here was absolutely terrible, my steak (cooked medium) tasted like charcoal and it was chewier than a sandal. The service is fine, nice server, but the atmosphere is bad, inside is louder than a music festival, and don’t get me started on the flies. 1 star, don’t recommend.

My family and I have loved The Tack Room for years. About 4 months ago we went there for the first time since they reopened under new management.

We got The French Dip. It was fine. It was a perfectly respectable French Dip, but The Tack Room had previously made a French Dip that was literally the best thing I've ever eaten. :-(

Great off the main beat restaurant. The pizzas are outstanding and the burgers are also five star.

Great place with good food and character.

Pretty much all food is on the bottom of the scale regarding quality and taste.
Service was slow Took an hour and a half to get out served and get out of there-

Lesson learned, I did not read recent reviews. Beef dip had been recommended, it was bits of crunchy (steak?) served with tepid au jus; salad was wilted. One of our party of 4 had the ribs that even appeared days old (tasted old), two others had over cooked chicken.
Apparently the menu and chef have changed. I cannot recommend .

Updated review: The pizza is still good, but our server really rushed things along. We weren't even seated and were already asked what we wanted to drink. And how about the small packets of parmesan cheese like you would get at Domino's? The whole experience only lasted 50 minutes. I think we won't be back for quite a while.

I'm very happy that the Tack Room is open again. I had a great, thin crust pizza with beer, surrounded by 2 outdoor fire pits as the sun was setting. Their Korean lettuce wrap was great, too.
Prices are still most reasonable for this area.

Went early on a Saturday night having remembered how crowded it used to be in the good old days. Not the case that night. New furniture and a new menu which is very disappointing. Dinner options are very limited unless you want a burger or sandwich. The half rack ribs are still on the menu They have a weekly seafood special as well as a grill special. Pricey for what you get. No more baked potatoes on the menu. Ribs come with a tiny piece of corn on the cob (over cooked) and very rich white Mac and cheese. Ribs were way over done and dry. Caesar salad was fair. Grilled chicken on the salad was good. Staff are very nice and friendly and have tried to share loyal customer concerns without much luck for change. Doubt we’ll be back unfortunately because this was one of our favorites.

So glad they are open again what a great place. My friends and I went there for lunch after the art show the food and service was fabulous.

Gorgeous grounds and arriving at sunset was perfect! We sat outdoors with a nice heater and enjoyed some pizza and a local pale ale. Couldn’t ask for more 🌅

Great service but the new owners changed the menu. Had lunch and the items served I will not order again. Wedge salad no longer has blue cheese and blue cheese dressing, just really runny ranch with a disappointing texture and taste. Prime dip has cheese on it and the meat has grainy consistency like a cheesesteak with no sauce or flavor, the juice is canned onion soup not aujus. Pastrami sandwich has no thousand island dressing or much of anything and meat is not tender, the marble rye is nice. The chicken sandwich is made from thigh meat and is really small lost in toppings that do not add taste. The onion rings and fries were ok. You can only get tomato soup or chili so we passed, no more delicious cowboy soup or clam chowder. May try dinner or appetizers to see new items just because after 30 years I’ll give it a chance. $186 for 6 people lunch. Will not be back for that especially since the hamburger has been changed. Service was excellent.

The best Cobb Salad I have ever had. I loved it when Andy Cahan and his band played on the patio while we ate. It was such a fun place to go for the evening and the Cobb Salad is devine! Can't wait to go back again. Hope Andy's still playing there. There is a dance floor by the band if you care to dance. A great place!
