ended up not being my type of place sad because some of my friends highly recommended it
Stopped in here for lunch randomly after landing in Palm Springs for first time and to our surprise, a championship Polo match was just set to began. So spent an hour watching polo, taking in the scenery and eating some pretty solid food. Was a fun time

solid place service is good but the food is very slow to come out. Waitstaff was friendly.
The view of the mountains across the polo greens outside is really why you would come here and sunset it is really worth stopping by.

One star for food and five stars for service last night .
Have been long time patrons here and always loved the food and the staff and you can’t beat the location and views.
The recent reviews about the food with the new ownership concerned us but felt we had to try it.
First we came for polo on a Sunday at 10 but could not get a table or food until 11. We were offered a take out burrito and a picnic table. Food nothing special.
Went back with friends for dinner last night. One ordered steak, it was good. The tacos and chicken wings not worth coming back for. How can you make simple street tacos bad in such a great Hispanic community?
There are so many food options in the area for food and ambiance. Invest in a good chef and let us know on IG/social media that you are listening and we will continue to support you.

Beautiful location. Our party had a very upsetting experience. Food service was very slow 45 minutes to get a drink and over an hour for Food. When the food arrived it was cold and one person in our group did not receive his lunch. We complained to management and they only removed the charge for the undelivered food. Not a good place to go any longer.

First of all let me say in years past this has been one of my favorite places to go as they had a good variety of fantastic food and great views…. Fast forward to now, 2025, and this place is shockingly TERRIBLE, just HORRIBLE! …. REALLY HORRIBLE!
NOTE: The menu and pictures they have posted here and online is LAST YEARS MENU …. The only thing worst than the new menu is the taste of the food… let me add that this place has nothing on the current menu that was on the menu from previous years, except for a hamburger …. All the pictures on their website or internet are from past years, No current 2025 menu food pictures posted.
Again, all the high-end food listed on their website or online is NOT AVAILABLE …. This year they DON’T OFFER any salads or any seafood or any carnitas or any steaks or any short rib meat or any specialty cocktails or any guacamole /taco’s/ enchiladas (and this is suppose to be a mexican restaurant!) …. The new owners sure have ruined what use to be nice place to dine and spend your time and money….
UPDATE: The company that owns the Music Festivals now owns the Cantina, which was formally a restaurant…. It is now only open from January-March and the kitchen is not in full operation anymore…

Ate here a year ago and the food and service were fantastic. Heard it had new owners/management. It looks the same, but the only thing the same is the name and address. Sadly the food was nearly inedible. Buns were burnt, meat overly salty, cold greasy fries. Drinks took forever to get served, came one by one for four people, and only after we reminded them three times we still hadn’t received them. The wait staff were polite and I think doing their best, they were very clearly not service oriented. I hope it’s just a case of growing pains and they work out the details, and get their kitchen and wait staff better training. It would be a shame not to enjoy a good meal and drinks surrounded by the gorgeous views on a polo field.
Parking: Adequate parking next to the restaurant. Flat paved parking lot, very little shade. Two Handicap spaces next to the building
