Spacious snack bar with lots of choices for sandwiches of all sorts and bakery items. It's ordering a counter and then having the food brought to you. The sandwiches are quite big and seem to be good. I had a blueberry-lemon baked slice, which was very good. The restaurant is in an industrial area of Indio, and it's just a big hall with simple wood tables. I had heard good things about the place many years ago when I still worked in the area, but this was my first actual visit.

This is the best sandwich joint ever! The sandwiches are anything but boring or plain. Loaded with flavor and quality ingredients that genuinely display the thought that went into the creation of each one. It’s a little off the trail over there in Indio but well worth the visit!! I don’t live close so when Indo make it over there I buy two sandwiches and they end up being 3 meals for me! The Trump Card is unbelievable!! So is the spicy crispy chicken

A friend recommended TKB, but it had been a year since he had been there. So l was craving an Italian or Pastrami sub and thought l would give it a shot. The location is convenient to the freeway and when you enter the space is huge and has an Industrial vibe. The reason for the three stars for food was for the following: the sandwich choices were okay but they pile on a bunch of filler condiments like mustard, mayo, olives, tons of lettuce, tomatoes and other things l have never seen on every sandwich. They didn’t have a traditional Italian sub and three different kind of Pastrami with one listed as Smoked Pastrami? I figured being l was already there l might as well order as close to what l thought might be a traditional Pastrami. The person at the register never smiled, never greeted me and “What do you want”. I ordered the sandwich but told her that all l wanted was pastrami with mustard and pickles. She looked at me like l had two heads. The price of just a sandwich was $18.00. There were maybe twenty people in the shop and I waited about fifteen minutes for my sandwich. Seriously, there was approximately 1/4” of luke warm dry Pastrami and the bread was soggy. I didn’t even finish it. I hate to say it, but Jersey Mike’s makes a much better sandwich and their staff at least acts like they want you there.

Update 2025: Been here a couple times a couple years apart. This time it was later afternoon. Plenty of parking & seating and not busy at all. Food was good

Excellent sandwiches. Very busy seating was congested inside. When cooler outdoor seating would be nice. A little prince but food did not disappoint

What happened to the good sandwiches TKB had. My wife had the Rueben...took 2 bites
and threw it out....the Pastrami was mediocre. I had half and threw out half. Fries cold and overrated, onion rings came right out of a bag o frozen rings. Very disappointing!

We’re visiting from Canada and this place came highly recommended so we stopped in for dinner. They close at 7pm and we got there at 6 which wasn’t an issue but I think because we got there so late, we got the very old, hard terrible bread on our sandwhiches. The actual fillings in the sandwiches were great but when half our buns were rock hard and inedible it kind of ruins it for ya. $40 for two of us to eat and couldn’t even finish because of the bread. Disappointing.

I had the Tri Tip sandwich with fries!! The place was packed and pleasant during the lunch. I asked for a carryout bag because the sandwich was HUGE. However, the gentleman who handed me the carryout bag gave me an attitude. When I told him how great the food was, he turned around and walked away. Maybe he was having a bad day. TKB is my second choice for Sandwiches. Tummy Stuffers in Riverside is my first choice and has them beat by a mile! Regardless, the food is great and the atmosphere is welcoming.
