I was not impressed this visit. Staff needs training on wine. Many bottles we tried to order were not available and this was a special event so poor planning on their part in y opinion. I’m a bit of a wine snob so I’m clearly not their target audience. Sadly I didn’t enjoy any of the wines we ordered. I found one that was consumable and stick with that. The staff was nice, but not knowledgeable but tried to pretend they were which was not cool when they attempted to make me feel like I didn’t know what I was talking about. This could be a really nice evening out, but the owners should invest in wine 101 training for the staff. It would make them more confident and your consumers would have a more pleasant experience.

I celebrated my birthday at 1010 last week! It was my first time here and what a wonderful surprise to have found a treasure in my neighborhood. We were able to get reservations right away for a party of eight. They have the largest selection of Black owned wines and we enjoyed an absolutely wonderful wine tasting experience. Leslie is one of the owners and she guided us with her extensive knowledge of wines and even put together a list of Black owned wineries to visit in NorCal. I had the whole fried fish with escovitch and herbs. I thought someone picked me up and dropped me off on the Caribbean coast in Belize to enjoy fresh fish with pickled veggies! My family is still talking about 1010; the wine, the food, and the wonderful staff. We had a great time and will be back! Thank you Leslie!
