Awakening is an unexpectedly delightful coffee shop. Terrific coffee drinks ordered from a deceptively sparse lobby, but beyond the barista’s area is a lush, chill sitting area, filled with sofas and soft chairs, and lots of tables to work at. Rentable work room also available. Dog water and snack station. You could chill here for hours.

Awakening is hands down my favorite coffee shop in LA. I come here all the time to work and I’ve actually shipped and published several projects from right inside this space. The vibe is perfect for getting things done. Lots of seating, great WiFi, and a fun energy that makes it easy to focus.
The team here is amazing. Jamie Bert and Surayyh always make me feel welcome and cared for ❤️ They remember people and really make the place feel like a community.
My go to is always the Espresso Yuzu Tonic ☕🍊 It’s refreshing and bold at the same time and honestly I crave it every week.
If you need a spot to work relax or just enjoy a one of a kind drink this is the place. Awakening is special and I feel lucky to have found it.

This place was such a pleasant surprise. We were looking for a quick breakfast spot and found this place. We were greeter warming as soon as we entered. The ordering process was fast and simple. It’s self service ordering. The decor is very modern and fun. Once you order you wait in the back cafe where you could spend hours working or playing board games with friend. This is an amazing third space for people to eat, hang, study or work.

First Visit as I live in Hawthorne, but it was well worth the drive. Purchased a bag of Sesame seed & everything Bagels. Much bigger than expected & just as good. My family wants more, & I will return 😁
Just moved to the area and was so happy to find this gem! They had an amazing selection of drinks! I ended up going with the maple oat latte (which was delicious), but I’m definitely coming back to try their famous Heavenly Cloud Latte next time. The staff were super friendly and helpful, especially since it was my first visit. They made great recommendations and really made me feel welcome. Also, there's a HUGE area in the back that's perfect for getting work done or to have a meeting. Such a cute spot with great coffee!!! Can’t wait to go back!

It has a fully digital element which sounds intimidating but isn’t AT ALL, and is very efficient. And don’t let the front deceive you, there is TONS OF seating in their dedicated cyber work space with plenty of outlets. Plus lots of sunlight. And the baristas were so kind!
