I had my lunch at Betty Market and restaurant . I was really impressed the way the food tasted which was beef tibs seasoned lightly with Ethiopian chili called Berbere and of course with other spices too. Guess what I am Ethiopian myself and been here in US over 20years and never experienced such delicious taste and pretty same taste like mom one . I can’t wait to taste their kitfo which is lean ground beef seasoned with berbere rich in butter. Thanks Betty restaurant for your hospitality and cleanness.

I very much enjoyed my visit at Betty Market & Restaurant. Came in for a late lunch. Had a veggie platter and I was curious what the sauce is giving in Ethiopian Spaghetti. The food did not disappoint. It was very fresh and well seasoned. I was impressed that the Nijera bread is made with actual Teff which means it’s gluten free! I could tell right away it’s not a heavy yet light and fluffy as to other Ethiopian places. From the market I got some Himbasha bread. I’m going to have it for breakfast. I will be back.Vegetarian options: Veggie platter, spaghetti, himbashaParking: The plaza has limited spaces. Parking on the street wasn’t difficult.

This Restaurant + Mini Market is located in the city of New Delhi. I have visited multiple other similar businesses, and I found this restaurant and their menus satisfying and in a kind of right out of your mom's kitchen feeling and, unapologetically, can be declared the best in town.Famous for their Gluten-free-Teff Betty Injera, Hambasha, Kitfo, Quanta Firfir, Awaze Tibs, Ts'om Beyeynetu, Nech' Tibs. and Chechebssa. If you love coffee, don't forget to ask Ethiopian Coffee Ceremony at the end.Identified: Betty Yetef Bread, Hambasha, Katfo, Kanta Frfr; Awaze Tibs; Fasting in its various forms; while squeezing white roast. If you buy coffee; Not forgetting the Ethiopian Coffee Restaurant!#Gluten_Free #Ethiopian #Grape #Ethiopian_Coffee

The most delicious Ethiopian food I've had in LA. I grew up eating Ethiopian food in Little Ethiopia and also have visited Ethiopia so am pretty familiar with good tasting Ethiopian food. I am also vegetarian. THIS PLACE IS THE BOMB!!!!!! it's very clean, has great interior design for a small place but my goodness the food specifically the FitFir(inJera with berbere and other spices) was perfect and Betty was so great and once knowing I was ordering the vegetarian platter asked if I wanted the Firfir vegetarian too. The owners are great at accommodating. My favorite so far is the Fitfir and the Misr wot and the Shahee!! The owners are really nice and the vibe of the place is welcoming and comforting. Can't wait to come back!!!

What a way to get introduced to Ethiopian cuisine! My first time trying it, this place came highly recommended and it did not disappoint. The customer service by the owner Johny and his wife was superb, as within minutes I felt like family. There is open kitchen and one can see that everything is being freshly made and once the food was served, the experience was magical--the plethora of flavors and deliciousness were having a party in my mouth with every bite that I took! I loved the beef stew, the grilled veggies and the chickpea soup dish was by far the best I've ever had. And you really get to feel like one with food, as instead of utensils you actually use Ethiopian traditional bread to pick up and taste the stews and the veggies. Overall, an amazing experience and very delicious food. Compliments to the wonderful family that opened up this authentic spot. Will definitely be back for more!

Bettys's Ethiopian Restaurant & market is a small family Ethiopian Restaurant , bakery and Ethiopian Store .As an Ethiopian immigrant I am always craving Ethiopian food & have tried pretty much all the Ethiopian restaurants in Los Angeles this one is my favorite . What you find here is real authentic Ethiopian food experience and amazing service from Husband Johnny and Betty his wife who is the Chef . They both love what they do and they treat you and serve you with smile. You are treated as a family here and you are going to Love coming here . Everything is made & baked in house . My Favorite dishes are the Awaze Tibs , Shiro (Chickpea stew , A Must have ) and the Vegetarian combination. All the dishes are fresh made to serve and very flavorful and healthy. Try them and you will be very happy.
