Coming from the Bay Area anytime we're in Southern California this is a must stop hidden gem for us. Chicken is flame broiled, hot, juicy & full of flavor. Mac & cheese, red bean & rice, green beans, yams, collard green all delicious! Customer service is top notch & you can tell they put a lot care into each meal! If you're in the area catching a game at the Sofi or in the area this is a must stop!

Every time I go to Big Daddy's Kickin' Chicken it is the same, great quality. The guy that cooks and takes the orders is always very friendly, and he always does a good job. His name is Corein. I definitely recommend you give him a chance if you're willing to spend around $20 for a healthy and tasty chicken plate. I read the reviews for Big Daddy's Kickin Chicken and I can see that Corein listens to the feedback and makes improvements. Everything that people suggested I can see he has implemented at the restaurant.

The last 2x my chicken has been over cooked. I express my displeasure with one of the sons. I was told after the 1st time it won't happen this time. 🤷🏾‍♂️ But the greens and the Mac was 🔥

This place is soooooo freaking good!!! I never liked corn bread in my life till I had theirs. Chicken has so much flavor!!! And the customer service is great! He gives you a time for your order and it’s done right in time!!! Can’t wait to be back!!

This takeout place is a hit and miss. Sometimes the food is sour and too salty. I think that they put extra salt in leftovers to mask the sour taste, and for the additional salt to kill the bacteria that may begin to populated in the leftover food. This should never happen. They have a standard recipe for dishes, that when used in the initial cooking will be a hit. The young men working in this place don't understand that they are driving people away with their save a penny, and loose a pound (bigger money) approach. My last visit Jan. 28, 2025.

My husband and I usually order from this spot once a month. I have NEVER been disappointed in their service nor their food. Everything is perfectly prepared and the price is well within the budget.
