Chicken lacked flavor. Dino’s way tastier. I specifically asked the gentleman if it was spicy he stated “No” Upon receiving my order the chicken was spicy. Lacked flavor, beans and rice weren’t cooked all the way they were hard. Yams were just ok. Corn bread was as good. I give them 5/10. Never again I would eat here again.

The staff here are very nice and pleasant, the foo i got was cooked properly and tasted phenomenal. I got the chicken with two sides and a good sized piece of corn bread. My chosen sides were the red beans n rice and mac n cheese. Everything was delicious and had great flavor on top of being cooked to perfection. The combo of seasonings they use on the chicken gives it a very delicious and memorable flavor. I highly recommend checking this place out.

I remember my first time experiencing this all so delicious chicken back then they were located I believe on Slauson and 8th ave where that liquor store is and I would go there late at night and be in food heaven. Unfortunately the place burned down.

I was not disappointed. Great flavor and juicy chicken. Can't eat inside. There are no tables or chairs. To go only. Sides are all great. Yams not my favorite.

Food was amazing. Me and my friend had just finished watching the la rams vs the browns and we were so hungry. I looked on yelp and found this place, there was only good reviews so I decided to give it a try. I ordered the chicken combo plate with greens and Mac n cheese. Everything was delicious and the service was great. Whenever I'm in the area I will make sure to grab some food.

So I had to come back here again this time for lunch since I work not too far away it the food didn't disappoint me like last time, I don't know what they do to this chicken but it is Last time I wasn't impressed with the Mac and cheese but this time someone was on their A game when they made it still not sold on the greens may next time I will try something else and this time I paid for a extra cornbread and that was the best thing I thought of, I was surprised I called in my order and when I got there it was empty and it was 1 in the afternoon, that was better for me I got my food and dashed back to work and made it on time

Don’t be fooled by the size of the restaurant. Not only is it one of the best chicken places in the city but the owner is always super friendly and welcoming. The chicken is fresh, flavorful and juicy. The yams/mac&cheese/greens go crazy. Been coming back here and will keep doing so! 10/10
