It’s only 4 stars because of the initial service. I ordered online for delivery, I was feeding 10 people and ordered 12 items. Delivery went as well as expected, but an item was missing. When I called to ask if the item was being brought to us I was told that we needed to go pick it up. I explained that I couldn’t and that was the reason why I had ordered for delivery and wanted the item. The lady said they couldn’t deliver it so I told her I would be writing a negative review and she genuinely felt nervous but she still couldn’t deliver the orange chicken. Eventually my wife drove over to pick up the item and they were more than apologetic, gave us two extra dishes and free sodas. We’ll definitely go back as our favorite restaurant closed down and needed a new go to place. Hopefully service will be better next time and I’ll update it to 5 stars!

I came back to Canton Kitchen after a long time, hoping to enjoy what used to be my go-to for Chinese takeout. I used to love their shrimp fried rice, but this time I ordered a simple 2-item combo plate with teriyaki chicken and mixed vegetables.

To my surprise, they tried to charge me $14 for the combo, even though their menu clearly lists a lower price for a 2-item plate. When I asked why, I was told it’s their standard combo price now. It didn’t add up, and after some back-and-forth (including the staff speaking in Chinese to one another), they eventually knocked off $1 — but I still paid $13 for a meal that wasn’t worth it.

Sadly, the portion size was small, and the teriyaki chicken was dry and flavorless. Nothing like the quality I remembered. The service felt dismissive and unaccommodating, which just added to the disappointment.

There are plenty of better Chinese restaurants nearby with better service, food, and prices. This was my last visit to Canton Kitchen — they’ve lost a loyal customer.

I'm changing my review. The last 3 times I've ordered from here, the food has been sub par. All my favorites for 20+ yrs taste horrible. Their veggies(this was my go to), chow fun, mushroom chicken, shrimp fried rice, orange chicken, teriyaki chicken, hell everything does not taste the same. It's not full with flavor I can taste the sink water used in their sauces the pork is tough. I wish I could say it was a bad day but this is the 3rd time IN A ROW. You may like it though.

While they are quick to serve they are quick to say no…..to everything! I asked for a cup of water for my dog (we had just come from the airport) and I had already purchased drinks bait the immediate answer was no. We asked for salt and pepper-NO! She was very unhelpful after getting your money and the food was basic and everything had this weird undertone! Very disappointing after anticipating good food back home in LA.

It looks like it use to be a donut shop. Not a lot of seating and they won't let you use the restroom. Buti got the pad thia noodles instead of chow main and with it I got BBQ pork which was very tender and full of flavor and the orange chicken which was really good too. It's probably the best in a long time thar I have ever had. I can't find good Chinese food out in Rancho Cucamonga.

I really love their shrimp fried rice. I get the large portion, and it's more than enough. The shrimp is fresh and the ladys working inside are friendly and it's one of my goto places in Inglewood. Im on my way there now ???
