We had the tomahawk steak for New Year’s Eve. I’ve BBQd steaks for 50 years and this was the BEST steak I’ve ever served - my guests concurred.

My family has been coming here all my life... I remember coming here as a little kid with my pops and now I'm coming here to buy meat and other goodies for my family. The chorizo here is by far the best in all of LA, change my mind. Same for the carnitas.. my uncles come from San Fernando just to buy carnitas here, so that says a lot...you can't beat the original spot for carnitas. All these places seem to be opening all of sudden but their carnitas are too salty or too dry. The carnitas here are consistently great. Also Monday's and Friday by special order only you can order a couple of pounds of Chicharron prensado, see my previous pic.. absolutely legit and don't know any place that sells them.. you can't miss here, they have quality meat and hot food options as well...

Great family business with excellent choices of meat with great quality from some of the best chorizo around to the marinated carne asada. Come early to try out the fresh cooked carnitas that hit you with the aroma when you first walk in. Next door is the restaurant with great Mexican food.
