Food was worth the long wait but service could use some improvement once one is seated & when one is done.

I was so excited to check this place out because of the infatuation and LA Taco plugs, but this place is a huge miss. The ceviche was awful - somehow bland and the shrimp was gray. The fried fish was cooked for another table, they walked around and asked if every table ordered it. When we did order it 20 mins later, they brought us that passed around order, cold - when I told them it was cold and we knew it was the passed around one - they said they changed the bowl for us 😮‍💨 we asked for a new order. Of course, 20 mins later they brought us back the same order. We also got their famous fish and the fish tacos, we really wanted to like something! The fish was full of bones and NOT DESCALED, also it was soaked in butter so you really couldn’t taste much else. Also, the fish tacos were unseasoned. This place is a skip - do not waste your money on poor quality seafood. Our meal cost $150 before tip and none of the items that we didn’t eat were removed from our bill. Two stars because the staff was nice, but did nothing about our poor experience.

Disrespectful waitress. Why dont they stop disrespecting the women when they are with their men.

Coni’s Seafood in Inglewood absolutely deserves its Michelin Bib Gourmand! This is one of my favorite seafood restaurants in all of LA—my go-to spot whenever I’m nearby.
I highly recommend trying:
* Tostaditos – Marlin pâté tostada topped with shrimp and octopus ceviche. So much flavor!
* Pescado Zarandeado – Grilled snook with house sauce, caramelized onions, and warm tortillas. Smoky, tender, and delicious.
* Ceviche de Pescado – Super fresh fish marinated in lemon with cucumber, tomato, onion & green chile. Refreshing and bright.
Pair it all with a lime margarita and a cold Modelo Negro and you’re set for an amazing meal. Can’t wait to come back!

My husband and I have been coming to Connie’s seas food since it’s was called chentes and it was practically a home restaurant. Until like a year ago we notice the camarones al vapor have become tasteless. Idk if they have new cooks but they need the old recipe! 😩 and we have ordered 6 times to give it at try but the original taste is not there. Plus they used to fill up the cup when they were foam cups and now it’s plastic and very little juice…with like 5 shrimp 🦐 not ok for the price. Please step up your game.

my uncles used to go to Chentes every weekend and sometimes I would tag along but, I am truly appalled by the food I received and it’s condition. I ordered fish ceviche, when I first opened the bag it came in, it had a terrible stench— it smelled like rotten flesh. Now once I opened the container, I realized that the ceviche was not at the proper temperature, it was warm. I don’t live far from this location so it doesn’t make sense. This is a health hazard you are posing to your customers.

Made a reservation but the restaurant wouldn't honor it because their tablet was broken

Food is very very good highly recommended. Prices are pretty high but once you start eating you know why. Service is the worst here will take you forever to be seated or helped the will probably come to your table twice if you are lucky

Very great tasting food at this restaurant. I do recommend to try this place if you are visiting any of the areas where their two locations exist.

I had the displeasure of going to dinner and when I asked for my bill I had leftover food and I had the displeasure of being charged for the container and glass for the ceviche, no place does that and still has a Michelin Star....
