I went there on 1/16/2024 at 1 pm.
There was a Hispanic lady with lots of makeup at the counter and she was super rude. Such an ignorant person.
Food horrible hard carbon tacos and rude words said in the out loud.
People play around and disrespect you when they think you’re not looking.

This has got to be the worst El pollo loco around. They probably cook chicken twice a day cause its always overcooked like its been sitting for hours. Doesn't taste like el pollo loco seasoning literally no salt even. The lady kept making me reverse in the drive thru to reset her timer because they were empty and still slow. Told me to not get an attitude when I refused. They turn all their lights of it looks scary and menacing and closed when its only 530 pm!!!! Im a local and give them a shot once every 6 months and im reminded to go to the one in Culver city or la tijera. This one's a joke . Hope the owner reads this so he can stop wondering why they dont do so well!

This was an absolutely unacceptable experience. We showed up and were forced to wait just to place our order, only to be stopped before the window as if employees were intentionally timing food production. When we tried to move forward, an employee even reached out of the window to physically stop us — completely unprofessional behavior.
We ordered two quesadilla meals and were charged for three. On top of that, our order was missing sauce and guac. When we pulled into a spot to check the bag, we realized half the order wasn’t even there. The line was backed up purely because staff were stopping every car before the window for no valid reason.
The inside doors were locked, leaving us no way to fix the issue. This is the second time this location has pulled the same stunt. At this point, it’s clear this isn’t a one-off mistake — it’s a pattern of poor management and terrible customer service.
Extremely disappointing and absolutely not worth returning.

I came into El Pollo Loco today, and I have been here multiple times without any trouble. However, today I assume they hired a new manager named Jose, and he was rude. I asked for the bathroom code, but I couldn’t hear him. When I asked him to repeat it, he said it in a rude tone, just because he had to repeat himself. He did not demonstrate good customer service at all.
Previously, they had a manager I believe her name was Genesis who had amazing customer service and was always polite. Be aware of Jose he was extremely rude.

Claudia who was a the front when I arrived was not welcoming at all. I ordered through Uber and knew I had to wait. Once my order was ready I asked for 3 green salsa. She rolled her eyes at went to get them. Before handing it to me, her coworker asked her something and she responded in spanish n pointed at me. Then handed my food with no words. Just bad customer service 😑

Customer service was good,
The double tostada bowls I ordered to go were served with dark avocado I threw away.
Unfortunately I was to far and out of time (had to return to work) to go back to return them.
Who ever served them should have the decency not to serve something they wouldn't eat themselves or serve their family.
This is the last time I visit this location.

You would think at opening time they will serve you fresh food and its completely wrong I received some left over hard mash potatoes and macaroni from the night before chicken tasted reheated aswell pico de gallo taste bad 👎🏼
