This is really a hidden gem in the city of Inglewood. If you want fresh, flavorful, authentic Ethiopian food this is your place! I believe everything is made to order so it might take a little while to get your order but it’s worth the wait. I felt really welcomed by the owner Emma. If it’s your first time here I would recommend two things. First, park on La Brea and ask someone to open the gate so you can park inside if parking is available and Second, which could have easily been first, get the awaze tibbs and some honey wine. The sauce that comes on the awaze tibbs is full of flavor. This was only my second time here but I definitely plan on returning soon. Last thing I’ll say is if you get the chance check out the dining area out back.

The flavour of the food was good, but the cut of meat they gave me was so tough that I couldn't eat it. Also ran out of

Usually go down the street to Queen of Sheba but they were closed so I tried this spot. The awaze tibbs were the texture of beef jerky. Just inedible. The veggie combo wasn’t bad but can’t say I’d eat here again. Ethiopian is my favorite food and I haven’t had a lot of bad Ethiopian but this shouldn’t have been allowed out of the kitchen

By far the best Ethiopian restaurant in Los Angeles. Healthy and delicious…. I know Ethiopian food I grew up eating it (I also cook it occasionally) in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. Treat yourself. Enjoy!AK

Service was super welcoming and pleasant. Food was tasty. Ate outside, which could use a lil cleaning and care. Inside was clean but tiny.

Dishonest, keep your receipt! or even better don't go!They changed my bill/tip to an extra 30% after I left the restaurant. Besides having to dispute it with my bank,The service was very poor; the guy was sleeping when I came in and the tables in the back were not bussed, with crumbs all over.Food was nothing special and was $48 for two people even before this incident.

We were charged $1 each for water! Preposterous; I’ve never seen a charge for still tap water in a restaurant, especially for what must’ve been a 6 oz pour in a small plastic cup. When I griped to our server about it she said it’s because of “the economy.” Good thing we didn’t ask for refills. We sat in the main dining room which was very stuffy. Zero airflow in there. The table had no napkins nor were any provided until we asked (fortunately, there was no charge for napkins). Our food took a while to arrive and it was difficult to find the staff’s attention. The food was good—but not good enough to forgive the ridiculous water charge and mediocre service.

Food has a good taste, the atmosphere is hard to tell since we visited on a weekday after lunch time. The place was empty. Indoor and outdoor seating. Chose outdoor seating, but it was a little dirty with napkins and hookah trash around.Vegetarian options: many vegetarian optionsKid-friendliness: Yes, kids are able to enjoy a meal here.Parking: limited street parking, free but hard to find.

I had the In n Out special and it was tasteful just the way I like it. Price was very good for online order. This is my favorite dish.

I came to This place during Ramadan one evening for iftar, the owner was so kind. She hadn’t gotten my order through Google where I ordered but she had my food fixed and ready to go in no time! I have my go to Ethiopian restaurant in ATL but hadn’t found one yet here in LA. I’ll definitely be back, the food was delicious and the injera was perfect. ?

Ordered via Uber eats. Ordered 2 varieties . The Derek tibs serving size was too small compared to other Ethiopian restaurants. About half portion size in comparison. It tested good though. The other plate, gomen be siga didn’t come with bone and it didn’t taste and smell fresh. It shouldn’t have been served. I didn’t eat it. Over all, I was disappointed. Won’t be ordering again.
