Restaurant was dirtyyyy, no drinks, trash behind the counter and trash can full and overflowing. Only 1 man working the front n told us they couldn't make half the stuff on the menu with no explanation š and even the basic item they could make like crab would take about 40 mins. So we thought we were coming for good food but got stuck with a basic meal and long wait. Restaurant was very understaffed. All together this place has gone down hill the owner does not care about it anymore n u can see it in the building and service. Food was good but the fries weren't seasoned and pale. Don't waste your time coming here unless u looking for basic menu items and a 40 minute wait.. its not the same experience as some years ago when they first opened it feel like a run down Louisiana now. Smh.

Eating the food from here is your Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, and Snack. They give you so much Crab Legs, Shrimps, Potatoes and Boiled Eggs filled to the top in a to-go plate is crazy. It's worth your penny and time to eat here because it's expensive. In my opinion, I would recommend eating this as a celebration, party, family gathering or when going out on a date. To me, this is considered a one time thing...I'll eat this probably six or eight months later. But great seafood boil. I recommend š.

I came into Krab Queenz on a Sunday around 4PM with my reality TV friend, who hyped it up from a past visitāraving about how good the food was and how great the staff treated them. Naturally, expectations were high.
I originally had my eye (and stomach) set on the shrimp and waffles, but after a 15-minute wait just to get to the counter (when we were the only ones there), I was told they couldnāt make waffles today. No explanation, just a quick ānopeā and the employee disappeared to the back again. I waited a bit longer giving him the benefit of the doubt- maybe he was the only scheduled employee for the day- and finally pivoted to a shrimp poā boyāonly to be told it would be a 45-minute wait. A bit stunned, I settled for shrimp and fries instead, asking for them extra crispy. The total? $75. And then I was hit with a 30-minute wait for that.
Already irritated, I honestly shouldāve just stuck with the poā boy. We tried to kill time at Ralphās with some ice cream, thinking weād be back just in time to grab our food. Nope. Came back after 45 minutes, waited 5 more minutes at the counter, and were then told it would be another 10 minutes.
Nearly an hour later, food finally in hand, I was praying it was worth it.
Now for the good news: the gumbo? Absolutely phenomenal. Truly lives up to its nameāāThe Best Damn Gumboā is no exaggeration. It was flavorful, soulful, and exactly what youād want.
The shrimp and fries, however? First bite of the fries and I thought I accidentally ordered mashed potatoes in stick form. Into the air fryer they went. Once revived, both the shrimp and fries were solidāgreat flavor, just completely let down by the wait and lack of crispiness.
Final thoughts: This place clearly can deliver amazing food, but the disorganization and long wait times just killed the vibe. I want to believe this was an off day. Iām rooting for a redemption arc, but unfortunately, today was a letdown.
