This was my first time eating here. I must say the food was amazing. I'm used to going to Westwood for my Persian food however having this spot in the neighborhood is fantastic. They serve the same food here as they do in Westwood. Check out the menu it's amazing. I had an opportunity to meet with Reza the owner Chef a super nice guy.

Hole in the wall, but the food was very tasty very authentic. This is a hidden gem. The owner was generous enough to give me a large portion of dessert for free.
That tahchin right there is fire people. As a tahchin expert who makes it all time you gotta believe what I’m telling y’all. You won’t find rosewater and cinnamon aroma with all the delicate nuts garnish anywhere except in a grandma’s house in a village in the middle of nowhere in Iran

The food was good but I can’t justify the cost, nearly $100 for 3 people and they got part of the order wrong.

I LOVED my order from here and the owner I believe was so kind and accommodating! Ordered the Lamb Shank and Chicken Kabob..the meat given is minimal but if you love rice you get a large heaping of it! The flavor was so refreshing and light..very light on the stomach!
The taziki was fireeeee and the Saffron Ice Cream was a pretty treat! Looking forward to coming back and trying more on the menu..especially the Tea and other drinks!

This place is so lovely! Every single thing my family and I ordered was truly a 10/10 (which is not an easy feat in an area with a lot of renowned and well-established Iranian restaurants). The tahchin was genuinely among the best I've ever had, and even my parents who can be picky with high standards truly loved everything we ordered. Another thing I want to note is that the chef/owner was truly such a hospitable, kind, and amazing person. He kept checking in on us, brought us tea, and of course prepared the food clearly with love. From the cute packaging and beautiful presentation, to the service, and of course the actual food and drinks, everything here was a 10/10. Do note that there's limited outside seating, but it's a really nice casual place to get amazing restaurant style food presented with the love and taste of home cooked meals! I wish the owner nothing but prosperity and success, they deserve it and am truly happy to have them in this community.

Best kuku sabzi I've ever had. Tasteful presentation and classical Persian music playing in the veranda...

So enamored with this place! Moist and flavorful meats, plenty of gluten-free options, distinct and delightful menu offerings, charming branding, and such a kind and patient owner, who took the time to tell me what items I could have on the menu based on my dietary restrictions.
A true gem and a refreshing answer to the myriad restaurants across LA that offer a same-ol’, same-ol’ menu of meh-caliber kabobs and rice.
Just lovely!

The food, service and atmosphere was fantastic! We had the chicken kabob, kabob khubideh, and kuku sabzi all were amazing. I have been married 28 years and my husband said the must-o-khyar is the BEST he has ever had (sorry dad). Next time we are in town, we will be back.

Creative take on your mama's home cooking. Nicely packaged, well presented, super tasty Persian food. Saffron rice cake and the Fesenjan are to die for.

I really love koobideh and I love trying different restaurants that offer it. I was pretty disappointed with this place. For almost 24 dollars I got the beef koobideh with basmati rice, cucumber and tomato salad and a grilled tomato.
First, they definitely cheaped out on the meat. Two small very flat kebabs. The seasoning is just ok. They were not juicy at all. The cucumber and tomato salad has romaine lettuce in it. I assume that's a filler. The grilled tomato is very small. Overall the flavor of everything was just ok. For less money, you get more and better quality at Kebab Bar on sepulveda and for just a dollar more you get a much more generous portion of meat and waaaaay better quality at Jino's Pars Persian restaurant on manchester I was actually going to go to Jino's but it's closed on Mondays and I didnt know that so I went to KuKu and sadly I won't be back. They are very nice though but it's very obvious they cheaped out on the portions of meat and gave plenty rice instead. Almost 24 dollars for mostly rice isn't worth it to me. Also, it looks like something I made at home for the first time that I wasn't too happy with. I hope they improve their quality and portion. I wish them well.
