Huunnntyy!!! First off IYKYK! That's all I got!
This place is small but mighty! Mighty delicious. They never fail on deliciousness here! When in Inglewood, this is a must stop for me! It's always clean. You can sit at the bar or a both. They do get crowded, so there may be a wait, but it's so worth it!
I ordered 2 eggs with his potatoes and instead of regular toast, I got French toast. Omg, that is the best French toast I've had, ever. Cooked perfectly with just the right amount of cinnamon. I like mine with extra butter. Omg, so scrumptious!
The house potatoes were on point! My eggs, over medium. Everything cooked perfectly! All hats off to the chef this past Sunday afternoon, Nov. 30th.
The servers were great as well. Stefanie and Tanisha, if I'm wrong let me know, but they were very nice and friendly. Made sure we were good with everything! And even engaged with my cousin even though they had work to do. Thanks y'all!!
I HIGHLY RECOMMEND MOBY'S for you next meal! I can't wait to come back. Just know, the closer at 2pm sharp!

Local coffee shop with breakfasts that are the standard of good diners. Quick service and long time business in Inglewood.

Visiting LA and my friend raved about this spot so we went. Beware if you don’t or can’t eat pork; they admitted that their non-pork food items all cooked on the same stove as their pork products, which is why my shrimp and grits had bacon on it (even after flagging it twice). They asked if I wanted anything else, but I couldn’t find anything safe to order. I grabbed a muffin from my car, but was told that was in violation of their “no outside food” rule. Obviously will not return.

Restaurantji Recommends
It's incredibly important for businesses—especially those
that are embraced by long-standing communities like Black Inglewood—to respect their
customers, uphold fair business practices, and maintain both cultural sensitivity and basic
hospitality.
Here are a few key points that come across from your account:
1. Cultural Exploitation Without Respect
Displaying old photos of Black leaders to signal solidarity while failing to treat Black customers
with dignity is not cultural appreciation—it's exploitation. It sounds like the restaurant may be
trying to maintain a façade of cultural connection while eroding the quality and service that built
community trust in the first place.
2. Degrading Food Quality and Service
Poorly cooked food, argumentative service staff, and cheap ingredients are a clear sign that the
restaurant may be cutting corners while raising prices—this is a betrayal of loyal customers
who've supported them over the years. You deserved better.
3. Shady Pricing Practices
Hidden surcharges, unexplained pricing discrepancies, and failing to post required notices
(especially if the sign “fell down” and was moved somewhere customers can’t see) could
potentially violate consumer protection laws in California. Many businesses transparently post
any credit card surcharges and allow customers to opt for other forms of payment. What you
describe sounds deceptive and disrespectful.
4. Unacceptable Restroom Setup
Requiring customers to walk through an alley to use a makeshift washroom while paying
premium prices for basic food is unacceptable. This speaks volumes about the owner's disregard
for customer comfort and basic hygiene standards.
Everything on the menu is wonderful and tasty prepared to taste
Been coming here for years from Torrance. Never disappointed! Great service, food and friendly staff 👌
