Definitely not what it use to be when they first opened. I ordered the pastrami po boy. It had more onions than meat and I love onions but this was ridiculous! Not to mention the onions were cut in huge pieces. I don't know what happen to this place it use to be so delicious. This was my first time trying again after a few years of not going. It's sad how restaurants start off great then change for the worst.

I ordered three catfish dinners with red beans and rice. The catfish was very good but the red beans tasted like canned chili beans not red beans. I have had their red beans many times but this was the worst. It was dry and there was no sausage. They use to give you a lot of catfish but now it is like half the size it use to be. Not worth the price. I will not be going back.

Maddie seems the be the manager at this location. I’ve been coming to Orleans for over 6years. I get platters and PoBoys of course. Maddie, has the WORST customer I’ve EVER RECEIVED. She told me she has been a manager there for three years and since she has never seen me she can’t make a substitute. I wanted a platter and wanted to substitute the coleslaw or macaroni salad. Which I’ve done over and over since I’ve started coming to York &Oleans. Maddie told me it could not be done told me she won’t help me with the sub of a side that is the SAME price. I went to the Orleans on Slauson and had NO issue, with my order. Maddie then told me if I have an issue take it up with the owner and it’s NOT her job to make me happy, I’m not sure what changed with the service at Maddie location, but I for sure felt unwelcome and treated as if I had no value as a customer to the store. I left the store and decided not to buy my food, why spend over $50 dollars if I’m treated with disrespect. I don’t want to spend money at a place I don’t feel welcome.Be carful going to this location Maddie may discriminate against you the same way she did me!!!!!
