Frequently have Ethiopian on Fairfax when I’m in town but today I was hungry after my flight. Very glad I found this spot! The prices were good, the service was exceptionally fast and everything on the veggie platter tasted fresh!

I waited about six to ten minutes before someone came out to take my order. And even then, I had to literally go around to the kitchen and let them know I was there. When someone came out, there was no apology. If the service is going to be poor, a restaurant needs to over compensate with the food being top-tier. I’ll be visiting another Ethiopian restaurant. This is not it.

I order the Doro wot and it wasn't that great. For one, it wasn't really spicy at all. Secondly, for what I paid, I don't feel like it was worth the money. I wish I went to Little Ethiopia instead. Lastly, I ordered collard greens and tif enjira. The collard green were the best thing of the meal. The tif enjira was not the best. They gave it to me in a grocery bag and charged me a $6 extra charge just because I wanted tif enjira. I don't plan to come back.

I love this little hidden gem. The food is good and they always have tej, the Ethiopian honey wine. I’m vegan so a good veggie combo and sambusa makes me happy. Like most Ethiopian places those with dietary restrictions of meat or dairy can find something good to eat. The prices are decent and the atmosphere feels authentic though casual. The service is friendly enough and they don’t hover so you get to enjoy your meal in peace.Vegetarian options: The veg options are great including a combo plate, lots of veg sides, sambusa appetizers and drinks.
