I only tasked the bean and cheese burrito, and it was deadly... I had to throw it away (and I hate wasting food!). The burger that my partner had was possible to eat, but he was not too happy with it either.

This is one old school hood fast food corner restaurant that's probably been around since the 40's or 50's by the looks of those old vintage signs. I love chili cheese so I ordered the chili cheese burger combo and upgraded to chili cheese fries and it came with a drink. They have a big menu here so the skies the limit on what you can eat. I received my order and it all looked good but the food was okay and not amazingly delicious.

It's a hole in the wall, for sure. The food use to be great. The service use to be friendly. The prices use to be reasonable. Oh, the good ol' days aren't that far off. I just went for the first time in about 6 months. The prices were raised drastically. Not only that, but the prices have fluctuated with the same exact order the past two years. I've gotten the same order since 2009. Why would the price change so much? Surely these people aren't smart enough to even know what a commodity is, let alone factor in the prices. Speaking of prices, the novelty of this was that you could get average tasting food at a decent price. Now, they charge WAY to much for average - to - crappy food. But you know what rubs me the wrong way the most? They charge a surcharge for using a credit card! That's not only illegal to do (look it up), but the cost of doing business is to accept cards and charges. What's next? Are they going to start charging us because they have to turn the lights on? Are they going to pass along the overhead when a can opener goes out and they have to replace it? Sheesh! I would have only marked this as poor, but charging extra for those that don't pay cash, deserves a rating of TERRIBLE. We all know they are skimming so they don't have to pay taxes. Not to worry, I've also contacted the state on them.

This has been a Mel o burger on this corner since the 60's. I know. I ate here in high school. Lennox High. So I went for the Mel O chili cheese burger with everything and fries And the Mexican yellow chilies on the side. Terrific. It is a very different place now, just to look at it but the chili burger was great . I may go back for breakfast. Nostalgia stop.

I loved the wide array of delicious flavored malts! I recommend for anyone with a sweet tooth. The area isn't that great, but these malts are worth taking a bullet for! ? the helper here was charming as well

The Food was amazing!! I had a hamburger combo with a vanilla malt and it was fantastic. Fresh, quick & friendly service, great value for money and tasty! Im a chef and pretty critical and I couldnt fault this place! What a gem.

Give this little Mom Pop place a chance if your in the area and would like a change other than your typical fast food chain. You can tell it's real meat and real food nice staff place is old looks a little tired and the. Years of many coats of paint date the building decades and decades. Food was fresh hot and quick with ample parking don't be fooled by old building

Found Melo Burger on the way to LAX. Much better alternative to eating inside the airport. Kind of curbside burger joint that looks like it's been there forever. Has to be good when it looks like that, right? Well it is.
