I caught them about 45 mins before closing, I was seated immediately. They have low counter seating as well as tables/booths. This place gives grandma / auntie’s cooking. Asked the waiter if he could rush our breakfast because we were running late.
I got chicken wings, French toast, a biscuit and grits. My wife and daughter shared a Big Spoon with bacon eggs and pancakes. Everything came out super fast and the food was delicious. Fried chicken was crispy and cooked perfectly and the French toast and grits were really good. I wish I could get something close to this back...
It had been over a decade since I last visited The Serving Spoon in Los Angeles, but let me tell you, it was worth the wait! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the service was just as great as I remembered.
