I had the egusi soup with beef my girl had the fish stew with red sauce and both of our meats were really tough like I had 6 pieces of meat and only ate one, she didn’t eat her fish at all . The lady behind the counter refused to answer the phone . The only good thing out of this dinning experience was the jollof rice and the flavors on my soup

Jollof rice was okay but all the fish and beef were tough and dry even covered by sauce. Cold af in here too. This just ain’t it I’m sorry and with such bad service I expected better food like at Jamaican restaurants

EDIT: MUCH BETTER! So much better! The drastic improvements to the service coupled with the delicious food made me change my review from 1-star to 5. My husband is obsessed and he’s not even nigerian ?.

Worst service in the history of worst services. I placed an order 2HOURS in advance, drove all the way from Orange County to pick it up in Inglewood (if you from LA you know how bad that drive can be) only to be told one of my main orders isn’t available and I would have to wait ANOTHER 40mins for the rest.
Lady, hire more cooks, prep beforehand or something because this is ridiculous. I wouldn’t mind waiting usually because the food is good but wait AND be expensive? Not coming back here again. Food is good but the hassle is not worth it. At all.

Used to love this place before they moved. Came in on a Saturday night and waited an hour and a half for our food before being told they ran out of jollof rice, still didn’t have our order ready, and offered us steamed rice instead.

This restaurant it’s five stars for me because it just taste so damn good but it takes a long time to get your food if you are ordering it order it by phone and if they say 20 minutes is gonna take 45 but I promise it’s worth it

The new place is much better than the last one, the food was on point, the friends I took there to show off the African pride to, we truly impressed. Thanks guys for representing ?? well well.
If they could allow us to give any number of stars, we would give u infinity ♾️ ✨️ stars. But since 5 means infinity in this matter, I give u all.
The 2 ladies who served were so sweet and lovely. I wish they had name tags. Or nicknames, so that I could be more particular for their warm welcome ??

FOOD IS SO BOMB!! My CNA program director ordered catering from here— Jollof rice, chicken, greens, donut/bread, and plantains.
That was the first time I had Nigerian food and it is so good!! I even brought food home- thats how good it is?.
I only got one picture because I was too busy enjoying the food ?
The jollof rice is so bomb- I could eat it by itself. I very much recommend this place, take this as your sign to go here. I will definitely go to the restaurant one day!

I always order ahead at least 2hrs why sometimes I can go to pick up my order after 1hr and still wait due to how extremely busy they are .

First of all let me say... Veronicaaaa, marry me!!!! ? Never had fufu before so I decided to stop here and try it while on vacation! The customer service was great and the cooks were so nice and welcoming. THE FOOD WAS EVERYTHING I EXPECTED AND MORE!!! I LOVED EVERYTHING I ORDERED! Everything was hot and fresh. Took about an hour to get my food but it was worth every minute! I highly recommend this place and will definitely return. It's so good I'm willing to drive from Arvin, ca to Santa Monica just for this.... Veronica, I think I'm in love ? ?
