The Oscars just happened down the street from Mashti, and I too live down the street from Mashti, so it's the perfect place to soothe away the triumphs and tragedies of the evening's broadcast with thrilling flavors. Mocha almond fudge did the trick this time, and in the past I've had the fabulous saffron pistachio and the lavender. Very nice folks and they give samples! ice cream is all handmade. I come here for the off-the-beaten path flavors. My fave is the herbal snow - but beware the consistency isn't always great. sometimes its nice and firm and sometimes its slushy and watery. and turkish coffee. rosewater is good too, a bit perfumey for my friend's taste.staff is always really nice and willing to give tons of free samples.
This place is usually packed when I come for dessert. Lines usually go out the door! Their ice cream and cakes are quite sweet so you'll need some coffee to balance out your taste buds. Parking can be a challenge, but they have street parking and a lot down the street!
