I booked a private dinner at the Saltwater Oyster Depot a few days ago for a team of executives at my company. They all raved about the entire experience. Each course was curated and delicious. The service was awesome and there was even one guest who historically didn't like oysters, but the team changed her mind! I'll also mentioned that the owner was really easy to work with, super accommodating to food allergies, etc..Thank you for a great experience.

Best oysters at Tomales Bay, really delicious and fresh, locally sourced, french inspired and very creative menu, great pick of wines, wonderful atmosphere and fantastic service. Definitely is our local favorite now.

Gorgeous ambiance right on the water. Tasteful and sleek. Ordered beers and oysters and it was almost $80 which burned a small hole in my wallet.

Beautiful oysters, both raw and broiled! Really good sauces on the broiled oysters. The melon, cucumber, burrata salad was excellent as well!

Delicious food. The oysters are locally sourced and arrive fresh off a shipping boat the same day. Carefully curated menu with fresh highly sources ingredients.
One warning: beware of the over-privileged, entitled clientele with an attitude. They frequent this place, but It is Marin after all.

We had an absolutely amazing meal and evening last night here. Broiled oysters, fried squash blossoms, fresh halibut, both delicious desserts and a lovely bottle of Chenin Blanc! It was a perfect ending to a 10 mile hike! Darling Ariella (hope I spelled her name correctly) served us and was delightful and so accommodating! We will be back!!
Closed on weekdays
It was a pleasant surprise. The oysters were amazing, we had other dishes and our favs were the cantaloupe with burrata and steak with macha sauce. Arrival has to be timed, either before opening so you can secure a table on the first round or after one hour ish to make it to the second one. Be ware they don’t open every day. Totally worth it!

As stop-by tourists, we were very lucky to discover this restaurant. The team seems to know all of their guests. A warmth that we have rarely experienced in a restaurant here in the USA. An honest warmth. Thank you for this lovely evening and the fantastic food.
