I often pass by this small shop and have thought countless times about trying the spicy beef noodles. Unfortunately, I always had to wait in line. Today at 1:30 PM, I found an available seat, so I happily sat down and ordered the spicy beef noodles I had been looking forward to, choosing the thick noodles. The first bite took me straight back to Yongkang Street in Taipei—absolutely wonderful!

Some of the best Taiwanese food I've had outside of Taipei. Special mention to the beef noodle soup and the fried chicken chop rice that came with the most unsuspectingly delicious pickled mustard greens!!! I wanted to buy a whole jar of the greens themselves! We also tried the bean curd with mushroom appetizer and it was so addicting. The beef in the noodle soup is so tender, it was a 10/10. The spicy wontons were a hit as well, not overwhelmingly spicy and the sauce I think...

Beef Noodle soup clear broth - $20 for a few tiny pieces of beef and no vegetables? The broth tasted very good but I felt very ripped off. Beef cuts are very lean so there's not much flavor in the meat.
